Pros: The motel was very quiet and accepts pets(pet fee was not mentioned online, had to pay at desk). Our bed was comfortable. View of the ocean was beautiful. Cons: Room was pretty bare bones. Mini fridge and Keurig only. TV was old school, no Youtube, Prime, etc. The bathroom floor was dirty and the room was pretty outdated, the electric fireplace didn't work and the timer just ticked. Also, the heater/a/c unit was leaking in the corner on the floor which we noticed when we went to close our blinds. Overpriced for the amenities and with so many other options in the area, I don't think I'd stay here again.

I have been going to Seaside for decades. This was my first stay at this property. Our room was cute but could use a deep cleaning, especially carpet, furniture the fabrics, and the shower/bathtub/drains need to be cleaned and sanitized. The hallway by the ice machine smells terrible from wet carpet. I was disappointed that I did not get what I paid for at this hotel. I booked this exact room for the fireplace and views yet when we checked in the fireplace did not work. We called and were told that the pilot light was out. It could not be fixed until late the next day (after check out). I was so disappointed. I wanted badly to warm myself by the fireplace after returning from the cold, rainy, windy beach. I was looking forward to the fireplace. Reception should have informed us at check in that it didn't work, perhap offered us other options, or at least a discount or credit since I did not get the use of specific amenities I had booked and paid for. Please consider telling customers at check-in if the room is not as advertised or is lacking amenities that they booked, planned, and paid for. We did have a lovely stay. The view of the beach is awesome! Thank you.

booked this room as we decided to stay another night in seaside and just picked something that looked nice. so i thought. pictures used on here are very misleading, as when we checked in we were told it was the room above the office. totally thought the guy was joking since i was expecting to stay in the building and one of the rooms as seen in the pictures. my fault for not checking their website first to see if there were other pictures of the rooms. i rarely have anything to complain about when i stay somewhere but overall it was just a let down after spending $250+ on one night.

The staff was great. The smoke alarm in our original room was having issues and so they upgraded without us having to ask, the rooms were recently remodeled and was overall and excellent experience. Definitely will be staying here again.

Our room had a very nice view. It was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately, when the upstairs neighbor showed up, it sounded like we were living under a bowling alley. Could hear a lot of stomping noises until late into the night. Would not stay here if you want a peaceful sleep.

The ocean view was nice, semi-easy access to the beach, parking far and minimal, nice location, and the room is roomy. Unfortunately the pictures online are not at all like what was shown. The fireplace did not work, brrrr..lights flickered, and the bathroom smell was not pleasant, toilet seat filthy, shower curtain had major stains, and the bedding smelt funky. The area is nice, the place is decent. I saw other rooms updated, just not the Shell Seeker. I was super excited to get such a cool looking ocean viewed room, then was let down by the complete opposite of what wawaawaiting for me and my family. I fid not sleep well, yet it was a new experience away from all the noise and general life worries. So it could of been better for the price. I did not recieve any of my VIP credits either, so it was what it was. Still decent, just not what we thought the room would be. I tried to call the front office nobody answered. I do not expect anything, just honesty. I work hard to be able to get away, and just want the whole experience. I had a nice time, my family complained the whole time about the bathroom smell and bedding. I wanted to surprise them. Thanks for an opportunity to stay at an older establishment. Just please do not portray more then what is really there online, if it is not so. I just want you to have real feedback. You are allowing people to stay in a great location, and we appreciate that, just provide clean towels, and the room pictured on website, Thank you.

The place was amazing over all. The biggest complaint was the smoke alarm that started to chirp at 1am and continued every minute or so until 8-9 am the next day. There was no phone or documentation of what to do after hours. The smoke alarm was 20 feet or so next to the tip top of the roof line, completely out of reach. Needless to say, not really the hotels fault, with the exception of not having a way to reach someone, but not a restful night.

The room is in poor shape. The toilet runs constantly and often would not flush. The sink drain was filthy. The floor was filthy. Them windows would not work however one window was stuck open. The cleaning personel were very gracious but the entry clerk was short and unhelpful. This was the second time we've been there; the first time was just ok, Not great. We won't be back.

Our room, Clocktower, didn’t seem to have a thorough house keeping visit prior to our late check in. There was candy wrappers and dirty dishes from the previous guest, and the bath needed a good scrub. We didn’t notice these things until very late into the night when we went to use the dishes and bath, so we just took the few minutes to clean them ourselves. For the price I paid, I was expecting an exceptionally clean room. Did not get that. The view was gorgeous though! Bed was also very comfy!

Very little not to like. Fantastic ownership. Responsive to any need and planned renovations keep the property in perpetual upgrade cycle for future visits. We recommend booking a room with full ocean view. We happen to be vacation rental property owners ourselves so when we give a recommendation rest assured the property meets high standards.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed! From check-in to check out was a terrible experience. It felt like going into a basement where you went to the elevator. The hallways were narrow, dimly lit and there was a horrible smell both in the hallway and the room. The key hardly worked and the door stuck. The room was small and cramped. The add on the internet made it look so much nicer and bigger than it was. The jacuzzi tub was too small and you had to get out of the tub to turn it on and off. And it was so high with no steps. There was a plastic step stool that was unsafe to get on. The bathroom was small and awkward. The shower was in the bedroom, it was very old and the carpet was disgusting. It was a total rip off for the price they charged. I would NEVER go back or recommend it to anyone, It was the worse night I have ever had on a vacation. This place should not even be allowed to operate!!!

We stayed in the room called Seaside Beach on the 3rd floor. The panoramic view of the ocean from the 3 large windows was spectacular. The room was small with a king bed but well appointed and efficient, with refrigerator, microwave and Keurig. The sitting area near the windows gave a nice place to relax and enjoy the view of the beach and promanade below. The fireplace was a very nice touch. Bathroom had a very big counter and nice shower. Very comfortable. The locking gate made us feel safe in the heart of this popular beachfront town.
