We stayed at this property over the Labor Day weekend. The house lacked AC and being a warm weekend we were told to open the doors which further invited flies and bugs as there were no screens. The property management company dropped off 2 box fans the next day which made a lot of noise and was hard to sleep with them on. Furthermore on checkin there were ants crawling all over the kitchen counters and sink. When we informed the property manager they said this was normal. Having been a vacation rental owner this is not an acceptable response. They later dropped off any bait and I don’t understand why this was not done beforehand by them. The master bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable. We had to resort sleeping in one of the guest bedrooms. To add salt to the wound, the property management company had a 10am checkout on a Sunday and didn’t make any exceptions even for a 1hr later checkout after knowing we had a hard time sleeping till much later than normal given the house was extremely warm. This was a very poor experience for us especially considering spending so much for 3 days.
