Arriving very late, the staff were so helpful and efficient and of course friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and we had a great and undisturbed sleep. Breakfast room is busy, but the fare was good and plentiful.
I stay in this hotel a lot. Staff are always very efficient and check -in is always very quick. Always found the room to be clean, although I would say the rooms are in need off a refurbishment, but that’s just my opinion. Breakfast is your usual standard and there is always plenty. There is free car parking. Overall I would say a good hotel.
Do not stay here, worst hotel management we have ever seen. Total lack of privacy. Upon trying to check in at the front counter i noticed a man standing very close looking over my wifes shoulder,i had words to this person which he escalated,as a result i was asked to leave, and if i didn't leave straight away the"counter person" was going to call the police to have me removed. As this situation unfolded the duty or office manager looked on and didnt say a word, typical of poor management. This is the most discriminatory practice in hotel management that we have seen in our 14 week travel around the world. I wouldnt hesitate in trying to protect our privacy again if this ever happens again. In hindsight i should've just walked out as if the reception does not care if others checking in can see our personal details.
We really love the Holiday Inn brand. We drove by the Inverness branch and thought we would pop in and check it out. It didn't disappoint! We had already pre booked elsewhere but had we known this place would be so nice and the staff so friendly, we could have stayed here. As it happens the place we stayed was 6 stars so all good!!
The hotel is clean, check in was swift and breakfast was fine. We are frequent hotel customers, always using budget type hotels, this is by far the smallest family room we have been in! You had to climb over the bed to open the curtains. The table was unusable when the bed was rolled out and there was very little floor space. I personally wouldn't consider this room an adequate size for 4 (considering others may have older children than ours) There is plenty of choice of hotels in Inverness and we would be reluctant to return to this one based on price and room size.
We stay here regularly and are always very happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, comfortable beds, and good facilities (easy operated showers) They recently introduced an evening snack menu -pizza, (excellent) chilli, panini etc. Useful If you do not wish to take adavantage of the Snow Goose a gastropub - also good, just across the car park. They welcome well behaved dogs - allowed in public areas and rooms but not in breakfast area. Mention dogs when booking.
After a wet cold day at work, it was nice to come in to a warm room with a great shower, very friendly staff and clean room, tea and coffee facilities in the room and a decent TV and free WiFi, the bed was comfy and the food at the snow goose restaurant was nice and filling. Breakfast was decent enough with the usual buffet fair, No problem staying here again
Stopped on business overnight. Had a room right by reception which I had to swap when I broke the toilet handle! Only a twin room available at that point. Couldn’t be helped, my clumsiness doesn’t help! Just over the road was a pub I didn’t go in but looked nice. I was working in the bar and had a pizza as that was convenient was very nice indeed! Good Wi-Fi. Staff were friendly, breakfast was typical holiday inn which was nice. I would stay again.
We stayed one November night for a few hours sleep one night before catching an early morning flight. The welcome at reception was good. The room were alright. It suited our purposes. We weren't looking for luxury, just somewhere to lay our head. We had to leave before breakfast but were able to pick up a couple of items from the buffet to take away with us.
We stay here a fair amount either during the year or at New Years. It's great for us with the Snowgoose close by plus we have family just up the road and you are also close to the main town, shops & other restaurants. The hotel is always clean & tidy and staff are helpful.
