We have used this HIE on several occasions when flying on the early Easyjet flight out of Inverness Airport. Staff have always been welcoming and helpful although on this occasion my Gold Elite status with IHG was not acknowledged. The room was well presented, well lit and the bed was very comfortable. Buffet breakfast [cold only] was available from 05:00 which is ideal for an early flight. Will use again.
Perfect base for Inverness and the airport. Close to a major shopping centre, movies and the Snow Goose for dinner. Good sized rooms and pleasant staff. Would recommend for travellers of all types. Reasonable price, good breakfast
Staff very helpful. Rooms were small would suit single person but cramped for 2. the bathroom only had shower, and as a female with long hair would have liked a shower cap provided, in fact you need to take your own toiletries unless you can make do with liquid soap. Although WiFi was provided I found it very slow. Breakfast was adequate. The charges for a 2 night stay were overpriced for the standard of the room.
Excellent book in process, including detailed emergency procedures. A comfortable room with accessible shower (as requested). Found the availability of luggage trolley very useful. Loved the ice dispenser. Good location for visitor attractions and local shopping.
I stayed a night here with my family and found the room a bit small for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 boys aged 5 and 3). The hotel itself is quite vibrant, staff friendly and has ample parking. The location is on the outskirts of Inverness which is fine if you have a car. Breakfast could have had more of a spread
you get what you expect here at holiday inns, however staff very nice here. Clean room. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Nothing exceptional either. Good point for others doing the NC500 - they take dogs. I dont personally have a dog but i saw others with their dogs.
This was our second visit to this out-of-town hotel and we were again impressed by its cleanliness, spaciousness of the room, its attentive and friendly staff and the excellent buffet-style breakfast. We travelled with our dog who was made to feel welcome also! After a long drive up from England, the hotel makes an excellent springboard for a leisurely drive to the far north the next morning. However, we would be more than happy to stay for a few nights to explore Inverness, the Moray coast and Loch Ness, and intend to do so in future. All in all, a great experience.
Have stayed here many times and the staff are always helpful the only down side is how they up the cost from £78 to £180 per night big turn off rip off same room same staff same breakfast, Was able to use microwave to heat food from Tesco Have stayed monthly till summer prices
We stayed here the weekend just past (1-3rd Sept) with my husband & 2 boys and our small dog. It was clean, quiet and the staff are really helpful. Right across the road is the snow goose bar which has really yummy food and good atmosphere. Great place to stay and breakfast was really good too. One thing I would suggest is maybe a pool table or something for the kids to do while the adults have a drink etc.
I spent quite a few nights here over the Summer on a work trip. The room was nice and had everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet and felt safe. There is no restaurant but you can order pizza and they sell snacks and sandwiches. It was expensive to stay but it was high season in the area. The breakfast could be improved upon a little with better coffee and a few more choices, but you can take it away which is a nice touch. The staff were always helpful especially Matthew. Ask for a room at the back if you think the noise from busy road will wake you. It is ten to fifteen minutes walk from a shopping area with shops and restaurants and. Tesco. The Snow Goose pub right outside of the hotel is nice. It is a little way out of the town centre though so you couldn't walk into town.
