Most places you see on line are almost always not as nice as they appear. Tricks with wide angle lenses and photoshop are often used. Not here! This place was far nicer than any of the images. We rented a romantic suite and it was up there with the best hotels we have stayed at in metropolitan cities, but in a small town. Views were incredible, breakfast was great, staff was super helpful and nice. The owner of the hotel personally checked on us and made sure we were pleased with everything. I recommend contacting the hotel directly via. Email or call! Very nice stay! Would definitely recommend as it is the best you will find if visiting the castle.
Fräulein Sabine and her staff made our stay and our visits to both castle's simply worry free and the room and hotel were splendid! Best service we got on our 18 day trio throughout Europe. We will go back there for sure!!
This hotel was wonderful. We arrived early in the morning by train and bus and the hotel was within walking distance of the station. It was the opposite direction from the main crowds and tourist area so it was very calm and quiet. We could see the Neuschwanstein castle from our room, with a perfect view of the castle. We were just hoping to have them hold luggage till check in later on but they checked us in right away. They offered us to have breakfast and set up a taxi and breakfast to go for when we left early the next morning. We had a very spacious room and the bed was very comfortable. I love the touch of artificial stars above the bed. This is a very nice hotel with great service.
