A great place to stay.

Incredibly helpful staff. Amazing food from the restaurant (room service). The venison is a must. Rooms are bright and airy and the beds are so comfortable you dont want to get up. Lovely attitude to people with pets and some lovely walks close to the hotel. Definitely a peaceful stop before heading into the chaos of German motorways.

Ein wirklich schönes Hotel, welches ich immer wieder gerne buche, wenn es mich in die Gegend von Schüttorf bzw. Bad Bentheim verschlägt. Das Hotel hat VOLLE Stornierungskosten erhoben und trotz mehrfachen Ersuchens, auf die gesamte Summe für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt bestanden, weil ich wegen akuter Corona-Infektion nicht fristgerecht stornieren konnte. Argumentiert wird, dass es am Buchungsportal läge, Expedia bestätigt mir aber, das es ausschließlich am guten Willen des Hotels liegt. Wäre es dem Hotellier lieber gewesen, ich wäre trotz und mit Corona angereist? Schade, hatte früher dort schon angenehme Aufenthalte.
