The Höfer apartment has 4 separate bedrooms - 3x double rooms and 1x 2-bed rooms. There are also 2x shower / toilet and an additional toilet. The apartment is at ground level and has its own terrace and lawn. An ideal accommodation for larger families, for 2 smaller families or for groups. The kitchen is fully equipped - refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob with 4 hot plates, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, coffee machine, coffee capsule machine (DOLCE GUSTO) and, on request, we can provide you with a mobile oven in the apartment. In the kitchen there is a satellite TV, as well as in 2 other rooms. Free WiFi with excellent reception throughout the apartment! Bed The house Rothorn is on the sunny plateau Nesslegg at 1500m above sea level. Due to the altitude, we are in an almost pollen-free zone. Hiking in the mountains or at this altitude has particularly positive effects on health, which was confirmed in the AMAS altitude study 2000. Our guests particularly appreciate the peace and nature, as well as the view of the wonderful mountain panorama around Schröcken. Our apartments are perfect for families or groups. The bedrooms are separate from the living room and they are spacious. There is a playroom in the house that the children can use at any time. There is a table football, darts, wall games, a Wii game console and other toys. The playroom is above all the "meeting point for the kids". Nature playgrounds: In winter there are numerous opportunities for young and old to let off steam in the snow in front of the house. Build snowman, snowball slaughter ducks, dig caves and much more ... In summer is the Seebach, about 100m from the house is a great adventure for the kids - building dams, slides, cooling off in the fresh mountain water and a lot of fun. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, ceramic hob with 4 hot plates, mobile oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, blender, stir bar and a coffee capsule machine DOLGE GUSTO. There is satellite TV in the kitchen as well as in 1 bedroom. Furthermore there is an excellent WLAN reception in the whole apartment. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. SKI AREA Warth-Schröcken, Ski Arlberg The ski Arlberg ski area, which is now fully accessible, can be reached by our guests in 5 minutes with the free ski bus. The stop is only a few meters from the house. The ski bus takes guests to the ski slope, from where it goes straight up with the Salober Jet and you are right in the middle of the ski area. With 305 kilometers of slopes and 87 lifts and cable cars, the Ski Arlberg ski area is one of the largest in Austria. The Salober-Schröcken ski school and the "Paulis Ski Arena" children's area are located at the valley station on Salober. From the ski area you go back to the new village ski run to Nesslegg and almost to your doorstep. Warth-Schröcken hiking area: There are numerous hiking opportunities in Warth and Schröcken - from simple walks to demanding hikes. Guided hikes take place weekly in the Hochtannberg area (Schröcken, Warth and Lech). One of them with a visit to the first alpine museum in Vorarlberg 'uf m Tannberg'. There are also hikes to the Sennalpen or to cozy mountain huts. Once a week there is a guided mountain tour to one of the 3 most beautiful peaks in the Bregenzerwald. These programs are all free for guests from Schröcken! BREGENZERWALD CARD: From 3 nights, all guests receive the FREE Bregenzerwald Card from May to October. This card is the entry ticket for the use of all mountain railways in the Bregenzerwald, Warth, Faschina and Sonntag, for the free swimming pools in the Bregenzerwald and the hiking buses from Lech to Dornbirn / Bregenz. About 200 m from our house is a start to a canyoning tour with abseiling over roaring waterfalls. Canyoning tours are available for beginners, advanced as well as family tours. The newly built Schröcken Adventure Park demands concentration, balance and a dose of courage. With 42 rope courses and a 140 m long Flying Foxbahn, this park is one of the highlights for the whole family.
