Thanks to its central location, there are numerous possibilities for fun excursions in the region: visit the lively Vrijthof square in Maastricht, enjoy wellness at Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg, explore the Drielandenpunt in Vaals or taste special beers in Schinnen and Gulpen. Even Belgium and Germany are just a 10-minute drive away.
The villa is located near the attractive church village of Schinnen, rich in history and surrounded by nature. Despite its mining past, the town still exudes authentic charm. Picturesque hamlets and hidden gems lie nearby. The area awaits the real Limburg: charming hamlets, discover the Mulderplas nature reserve and vineyards, or visit the Alfa Brewery in Thull. A walk to the Marian chapel on the Krekelberg will reward you with stunning views. The rural surroundings, with old farms, narrow roads and vast farmlands, still evoke the mysterious atmosphere of the notorious Bokkenrijders.
