Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen guten Eindruck: Es ist gepflegt, sauber, preiswert und der Check-in sowie Check-out verliefen unkompliziert und zügig. Auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Allerdings war die Übernachtung leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Mein Sohn (195 cm) hatte große Schwierigkeiten, in dem zu kleinen Bett bequem zu schlafen. Ich selbst musste auf einem umgebauten Sessel übernachten, der ebenfalls keinen erholsamen Schlaf ermöglicht hat. Das Hotel an sich ist durchaus in Ordnung – aber wenn man dort übernachten möchte, sollte ein richtiges, bequemes Bett selbstverständlich sein. In diesem Punkt gab es leider deutliche Mängel.

Die Zimmer sind extrem klein, nicht ausreichend zu verdunkeln und die Zimmer bzw. das Badezimmer wurden nicht gemacht. Das Frühstück war gut, jedoch kamen alle Zutaten in kleinen Gläschen, was sicherlich nicht unbedingt umweltfreundlich ist, denn sie müssen ja alle gespült werden. Der Inhalt war auch sehr, sehr klein. Etwas mehr frisches Obst wäre gut.

Bei meiner Ankunft war (vorher angekündigt) kein Personal im Hotel. Aber es stand eine schöne Auswahl an Snacks und Getränken (gegen Entgelt), liebevoll arrangiert bereit. Das Frühstück war super! Tolle Auswahl, super Kaffee! Achtung, nein Expedia-Preis ist das Frühstück nicht inklusive.

Sehr familiäre Einrichtung. Tolles Frühstück und auch am Rest des Tages verschiedene Angebote an Getränken und Snacks in der Lobby. Sehr große Auswahl. Haus komplett renoviert, vor allem das Bad ist unglaublich schön und die Betten sehr bequem. Im näheren Umfeld viele Attraktionen für Familien und Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge. Auch ohne Auto bietet Scheidegg sehr viele Möglichkeiten.

Skönt boende i lantlig miljö

Vi trivdes bra i vårt rum (studio med kök) som dock var på gränsen för fyra personer. Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område i utkanten av Scheidegg, men tar bara ca 15-20 minuter att gå ned till centrum. Frukosten beställer man dag för dag vilket vi gjorde, och den var helt OK.
