The accommodation was very spacious and clean with a large wooden terrace veranda that had fantastic views of the Karwendel mountains. We particularly liked this area for sitting out and even used the barbeque one evening. Reaching the accomodation from the train station took about 15 minutes on foot and check in was easy using a key lock. There are many activities available in the summer with all the destinations reachable by free local transport in the Seefeld region using the guest pass, free with the accommodation (and included in the visitor's tax). As well as hiking (there are many possibilities for all levels) you can cycle along the paths or swim in the numerous lakes in the region and there is even a local 'Klettergarten' only minutes from the accomodation, but you will need to bring your own equipment. We shopped locally at a mini-supermarket about 15 minutes away by foot or for smaller shops at the petrol station only a few minutes away. The choice is reasonable, but not extensive.
On the whole we found our accommodation extremely comfortable, especially the beds. There were adequate blinds and curtains to keep the sun out in the heat of the day, although one in the sunny kitchen would be nice in the summer. The shower was very good, but would benefit from a shower curtain. Our host was easy to contact and extremely helpful on a couple of occasions. We would definately come back to this area 😊
