Sea View Cottage is a delightful original fisherman's cosy cottage situated in an enviable position in the seaside resort of Scarborough. It is an original fisherman’s cottage dating back to the 1850's and is full of character and charm. It is a ten-minute walk from the cottage to the award winning sandy beaches and promenade or to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The spectacular sea views from the upstairs bedroom show you just how close you are to the sea front. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment into a modern, well-equipped cottage with tasteful decor and furnishings throughout. It is an ideal base for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Coast and is a haven for walkers and cyclists with lovely cliff top walks and cycle tracks located close by. The accommodation comprises of a lounge/kitchen/diner with electric fire, TV with HD/Freeview and built in DVD. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, slim line dishwasher, washing machine in outhouse. The bathroom includes a walk-in electric shower and bath with shower mixer tap. The second floor bedroom can be arranged as a super king or twin beds. WiFi is available at the cottage. Scarborough has everything you should need to have an enjoyable holiday to remember. The Sea Life Centre is a great family day out or you could take a trip out on one of the pleasure cruises, speed boats or fishing trips available. Scarborough Castle is only a few hundred yards from the property. The open air theatre, which is the largest in Europe has some excellent events going on throughout the year. There are numerous activities in Scarborough for all ages including Alpamare a new indoor/outdoor waterpark. golfing, fishing, indoor go carting, bowling and cinemas and lots more. A short drive will bring you to the historic town of Whitby from where you can board the North Yorkshire Moors steam train that will take you on a trip to remember through the glorious Esk Valley to Goathland and Pickering. The coastal resorts of Robin Hoods Bay, Sand send, Staithes and Runswick Bay are also within easy reach and well worth a day out.
