Located on the northern outskirts of Leipzig (downtown is approx. 8 miles away) and only a few minutes from several freeways (Autobahn) Hotel NH Leipzig Messe to us has proved to be an ideal place to stay on various occasions. Be it before getting on or returning from a long or tiring flight or coming to the region just for travel we found all we needed at this hotel - sublime sleep in a convenient Queen bed in a both quiet and commodious room with a soothing view over greening pastures and a small park from the upper floors. As the hotel sits at the very edge of an industrial park the big soundproofing windows also look at a well assorted shopping center nearby and the new Leipzig fairgrounds. Our room had a work desk in an ergonomic design, free WiFi internet access, a big flatscreen TV with countless stations to choose from and a cozy BarcaLounger. Amenities like a refrigerator or a water-boiler that brewed our tea at any time helped us make our stay a very pleasant one. The thoughtfully equipped bathroom comes with a tub/shower and was as prim and proper as the living area itself. Hotel guests longing for a workout will appreciate the small fitness center that has some state-of-the-art gym equipment. Another add-on is Lazy Sunday - the opportunity of a late check-out before 5 pm on Sundays. At no extra cost! At NH Leipzig Messe they offer a truly bountiful buffet breakfast including complimentary daily newspapers and we were under the impression that they do everything to cater for their guests’ individual needs if at all possible. Although NH Leipzig Messe has more than 300 guest rooms and all kinds of well-booked conference facilities we as individual travelers loved to stay here and enjoyed the personalized service their staff was obviously happy to provide. All co-workers (from the GM to Front Office staff down to room service, waiters and kitchen assistants) proved to be more than dedicated to their jobs and their joint mission - to make their guests feel like home away from home. Self-driving guests find a safe and clean gated garage at reasonable cost - or self-parking facilities in the neighborhood. LEJ International Airport is located close by. Nevertheless, we did not notice any noise annoyance from air-traffic at all! Driving guests may find it a nice experience to visit the nearby town of Rackwitz (5 mi.) to explore the area and try some delicious regional cuisine at one of those small eateries and restaurants. We will be happy to come back and stay there again!

We chose nh hotel as a stopover during a longer travel, didn't have time for Leipzig city but had an enjoyable shopping spree in shopping area just 100m away. Hotel itself could improve its lifts. Parking was difficult to get out, configuration not for manoeuvring a modern size car, all the barriers and blocks around important stuff were there for a reason. But we absolutely loved the way you open the garage door on the way out. No spoilers! :)))

It is not in the city center, but it is not that far as I expected, a 20€ taxi more or less. It is correct, nothing special, it needs some refurbishing/update, but it is all you need if you are here for work. Breakfast was nice and varied. I would not recommedn this hotel if it is not for working reasons.

This hotel is very remote but close to the fair. This hotel doesn't offer a lot of extras. It is rather basic. The breakfast is good and rich. The staff friendly and attentive. No sports centre or pool available. But in summer time you can go out for jogging. There is no shopping possible nearby. KFC is the only restaurant in that area appart from the hotel restaurant. The price is low and therefore I would evaluate this hotel as TOP in price/value ration.

The hotel is s fair way out of the town centre so if you don't have tranaport it could be difficult. It is in a bit of an industrial area but there are a couple of large shops nearby. The rooms are quite adequate but not very soundproof with tap and water noise between rooms. The breakfast is very extensive with a lot of variety for all tastes but some of the dishes were cold or stale cake. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke but thd rooms were fine.

Great hotel. Yes, a little out of town, but didn't worry us as we were only staying one night as part of a Cosmos tour of Germany. Our guest room was pretty good, plenty of room, well appointed, a nice easy chair in one corner and a large work desk in the other corner. Bathroom had complimentary amenities including SOAP! Yeh! Which most of the German hotels that we stayed in this trip did not include, having to rely on those liquid soap dispensers.. Dinner was provided as part of our tour and was buffet style with a lot of choices. In the morning in the same room as the dinner, we had a buffet breakfast, once again plenty of choices at several island serving benches. Well planned area with little congestion. So, very happy with this hotel and overall a great stay.

In early November, 2017, Leipzig Messe was the site of the World Dog Show - the largest in the world with over 31,000 dogs attending and visitors from all over the world. There are only 2 nearby hotels for this enormous venue, of which this one claimed to be close it was about a kilometer away. That being said the hotel made no attempt to adjust to being full - no extra staff to man the busy buffet or the full bar. Not only that, they decided to be greedy too - if you wanted 2 twin beds in a double room they charged half as much again to add it with the rates already 4 times the normal. Really shocking - and I had come to trust the NH Hotels - but no more. This is greedy and disgraceful hospitality and the upper management should address it. They could also have provided a shuttle during the event - rent one if necessary. I will write to the management, because it was so far below the standard of what I had come to expect.

In the middle of nowhere surrounded by ongoing building work. Disappointing welcome from Reception staff who totally ignored us when we arrived. Appreciate that it was a busy time but a smile and an apology for us having to wait costs nothing. Pleasantly surprised with room, very clean and good facilities. Felt sorry for cleaning staff as inconsiderate dog owners made their job very difficult. Tram into Leipzig just across the road costing Eu 2,60 per person.

The hotel was a little remote from the city center but that was fine for us. It was quiet and since we only stayed one night, we didn't need much else but a nice relaxing evening. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was large enough for our needs. Breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items.

We arrived by car and were very happy to find such a nice and modern hotel in this remote place. Building, rooms and services were good, breakfast was great (and included in the price!). We were a little disappointed that the underground parking had a price tag of 8 Euro/d and thus, we decided to park outside in the street. The distance to tram line 16 is not really very long but at night unpleasant because of scarce lights in the road. Moreover, the hotel reception might perhaps sell day tickets? The automate at the tram terminal is a little neurotic! All by all a very recommendable stay for people with time (tram is slow) who are not afraid of remote sites.
