Peaceful location in Dark Sky village

A very friendly host. Great location for walking on heath land and the Suffolk coastal path. Within easy reach of Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Thorpeness is a very interesting fantasy coastal resort developed for the wealthy in the early 20th century. Worth a visit for its architecture alone.

A disrupted week in Suffolk

Clean, spacious, in good repair and just as advertised. A very quiet location on the edge of Darsham, a dark skies village, so it was good for star gazing if so inclined. The owner Mrs Butler was excellent; friendly and helpful particularly as my wife broke a leg within a half hour of arriving and had to be hospitalised for a couple of weeks.. I would be happy to stay here again.
