Great stsy

We loved this place. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The location is perfect for walking all over Savannah. We parked in the garage across the square and didn’t take the car out until we were leaving.

Nice neighborhood and Location

We picked this because of the location and it fit our needs perfectly. We wanted to be close by to the waterfront and shopping and in walking distance to restaurants. The unit is spacious with high ceilings and is located on a nice square full of history. We had good luck with parking also.

We had a wonderful time exploring Savannah and visiting with family during the Thanksgiving holidays. Our VRBO was conveniently located to restaurants and in walking distance to sites in the historic district. We would 100% stay again.

What a great host and property!

We loved being in historic Savannah. We could walk to about anything we wanted to see. Lot of great restaurants one or two blocks away. What a great host, generous, helpful proactive and made a point to check in a few times to make sure we are comfortable. I highly recommend this host and property! Mark S.

Great location and lots of space

This property was perfect for two couples - two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms plus a really spacious common area. Communication with the host was also fantastic, and the location is great - close to Broughton Street and a lot of landmarks but far enough away from the main drag to be nice and quiet. The balcony overlooking the square is a really neat touch. Our only recommendations are a bit more of a thorough cleaning in the bathrooms and an upgrade to the provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash included in the listing. Our unit had a watered-down shampoo and two conditioners but no body wash. It’s a small detail but one we definitely would have noticed!

Very nice location

Very nice location towards the center of Savannah. It makes for a very good walkable vacation. Just be aware, this location is on the 3rd floor via stairs. Also, master bathroom's shower can be a tight fit to enter if you are a little overweight. Both of these were fine for our group, but won't meet everyone's needs. We would stay here again.

Great location for exploring Savannah. Parking was a little stressful getting in after dark and in the rain. Found a garage close by.

The location of this property is awesome! Everything is within walking distance. The communication was less than desirable though. Full disclosure…we had booked this rental 22 hours prior. But after the initial text/email confirmation we never received any further information including building access/parking availability/etc. We had 2 unanswered messages from the host multiple hours prior to check-in. It was quite frustrating trying to get ahold of someone while trying to explore the city… and this was after our check-in time had come and gone. I had held out hope up until that point hoping they were going to notify us at our appointed check-in time to no avail. The house itself was ok…not the most comfortable. The couch/Murphy bed was hard as a rock. The air mattress didn’t hold air.

Great Property and Location

This was a great and quiet location to stay and had a very historical feel to it. Sitting in the living room listening to the horse carriages in the street gave the impression I had traveled back in time! The only thing I was worried about was the parking, but there were plenty of street parking close by and it was cheaper than parking at a hotel. Would stay here again.

My family rented this from Friday-Sunday, February 24-26th. As a renter I have never left a review of a property, however, I feel that future renters should know prior to booking. I would ONLY give this rental a 1 star review, and ONLY for its location! The apartment is not the cleanest, showers (mold)/bathrooms, baseboards/bathroom doors/doors-have built up dust/dirt). This rental needs a good deep cleaning! Sleeping arrangements-it does NOT sleep 6 adults. The air mattress provided had a hole in it, the others were thrown on the floor, dirty, next to an empty bin. Futon/sofa bed, sleeps 1...was the 6th individual supposed to be the third party to the King size bed?! That is what my family ended up doing! Bathroom with King size bed, the door opens into the toilet, leaving renter a VERY small opening (approx.16-18 inches) to access shower. You will need to be a thin individual to utilize the shower in that room. The only TV that we were able to access was in the general area, as the others would not connect to internet. As a renter, I would not rent nor recommend this property. My family paid (I am not allowed to say) for 2 nights and I feel that the things included in this review should be standard and expected from the Tenant, we should NOT have to contact anyone during our short stay and address items listed!

Location, Location, Location - and beautiful Oglethorpe Square

The property is effectively two floors above the street, counting the outside stairs to the front door. The master en suite has a cute balcony. And longer term parking is very doable at the State Street parking garage just across the square. This worked great for us - an easy stroll to the river and several other attractions. The inside is lovely and comfortable. The provided toiletries were not what they should have been (huge industrial-size dispenser jugs of all-purpose body wash, only) but so many other attributes made this seem less significant as we had our own travel-size soap and shampoos. Definitely recommend this place!

This place was perfect. Within walking distance to everything. You will not regret booking this place for your next stay. My only criticism would be the shower head in the second bathroom. It is horrible. And the bleach smell after they cleaned was very strong. Glad we had an air purifier with us. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone.

Nice location

This was a better than average stay. The location of the property was definitely excellent. The property itself had several plus and minus features. The unit appeared bigger than 900+ square feet and it was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was a plus with its ability to have several cooks preparing meals. The ice maker was inoperable with only one ice tray. The 12 cup coffee pot was definitely a plus. There were only four flat dinnerware dishes and a scare supply of kitchen cooking pans, bowls, and baking sheets. Getting items out of the oven was challenging, since there were no pot holders. The bathrooms were large and well equipped with towels and bath supplies. The beds were comfy with nice bedding. There was one ceiling fan which was a bit noisy in the second bedroom. We noticed a little dust accumulation on the living room furniture and the living/dining cloth furniture would have been better addressed with non cloth furniture that could be sanitized with cleaners. The balcony was a nice addition if its outside furniture was maintained regularly. Even though the elevator was inoperable we did have management come over and turn it off for security reasons. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend this area and condo.

Great location…okay apartment.

The apartment had everything we needed & was in a perfect location. We were able to walk to nearly everything we did. The apartment was mostly clean. It could definitely use a really thorough deep clean; dusty, dirty shelves & a layer of dust & grime on top of the fridge add zero charm to an older home. Also, bring slippers to walk around the apartment in - after walking around inside the apartment your socks will look like you’ve walked around outside without shoes! The mattresses are also pretty worn out, as are the sitting chairs in the living room. Overall, a thorough cleaning & updating of some furniture & this apartment would be 5-stars across the board.

Location to River Street was good. Close parking near property. Furniture could use some updating for comfort. King bed was little uncomfortable and bed headboard was broken and wobbly.
