Friendly, clean hotel in a great location

very friendly hotel kept very clean by the hosts. breakfast is a cold buffet with good selection and service . rooms are small and could probably do with updating but doesn’t distract from the stay. location is excellent, right next to the main Clotes lift and 5 minute walk from the village centre.

Very close to Clotes ski base (100m). Very helpful staff. Hotel could do with decor/carpets reviving. Shower cubicles very small!!!

Good value hotel close to slope

A lot of mixed reviews for this hotel, but the bottom line is that it is good value for what it is. As with all ski accommodation you have to deduct one star when comparing with non-ski accommodation. Facilities are basic, as is the breakfast, but the staff were friendly, the rooms warm and clean and proximity to ski lift unbeatable. Beddding was clean and fresh and housekeeping were in every day and did a great job (I was sharing with my two teenage sons, so they had their work cut out;-) Boot room wasn’t heated, but good enough to store kit conveniently and no sign of bad smells in the basement. Only criticism is that two out of the three mattresses were the cheapest money could buy, so very hard and extremely uncomfortable. For an uncomplicated, convenient and good value short ski trip I would definitely recommend, but take a roll mat for added comfort.

Very good location near Clotes ski lift and near Sauze Centre. Run down interior in rooms, hallways, lobby and dining hall that needs to be redone. Super sweet and helpful staff (the girls) in the reception, ten out of ten for them. Cleaning was ok, but I guess it's difficult to make it feel completely fresh when the interior is old and run down. Breakfast was uninspiring and felt a bit eastern european (before the wall came down). Much room for improvement. Overall a bit expensive for what you get "hotel-wise", but I guess you pay premium for the A location.
