La Cabane de Lézan - SAUVETERRE DE COMMINGES

Treat yourself to a dream getaway in this charming and bright accommodation, located in the beautiful Pyrenean village of Sauveterre-de-Comminges. Karine and Jérôme, the owners, offer you an enchanting cabin for your holidays. They have poured their hearts into furnishing this accommodation and will be delighted to welcome you! The completion of this project also highlights their eco-responsible approach, as the cabin comes from a supplier in the Dordogne region, the wood for the interior was sourced locally, and the insulation is made of wood and plant-based wool. Facing the mountains, while sipping tea on your terrace, you can plan an active holiday right from the cabin: the GR78 hiking trail passes just a few hundred meters away; the Pic du Gar and Pic du Cagire are very close; 600km of mountain biking trails, several starting from the village; and Lake Saint-Pé-d'Ardet is 7km away. Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges (one of the most beautiful villages in France) is 11.7 km away, Montréjeau (train station, swimming lake, and golf course) is 15.7 km away; the Mourtis ski resort is 40 minutes away and the Luchon ski resort is 35 minutes away. Spain is 35 minutes away. Farm sales are available 400 m away (cheese, meat, etc.), and there is a market in Sauveterre on Sunday mornings and in Aspet (14.8 km) on Saturdays. You can do your grocery shopping in Loures-Barousse (there is also a laundromat) 8 km away. After climbing the entrance steps, you will have access to a south-facing terrace. Inside, on the first level, there is a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, and a shower room/WC. On the second level, there is a mezzanine sleeping area with two double beds (140 x 190 cm). There is no washing machine in the cottage, but the owners will be happy to do your laundry. The outdoor area is fenced, there is also parking on the property and a shed to protect your bicycles and skis.
