Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of towels, peaceful and woodsy property. The fireplace was perfect for our December stay. The hot tub was lovely!! For future guests to know- only pepper as far as seasonings, and no food storage containers, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, or body wash so if you will need those things, make sure to bring your own.

This was a very cozy cabin, the kitchen and had all the necessary items. Very quite, we experinces a black bear sighting waled right up to the cabin. It was an amazing stay.Thank you so much.

Rental was in a great location. Extremely quiet, private and peaceful. Babbling brook was soothing. The house was comfortable, internet reliable. It was a comfortable, relaxing few days and we would come back.

We had a wonderful stay! It was very peaceful, playing out in the creek or sitting in the gazebo. It wasn’t too far away from Helen, so we could go out and about easily. The outside could definitely use a good pressure washing every once in a while. That was my only issue since the gazebo and chairs were kinda dirty to sit on. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, etc. We had plenty of towels to use during the stay. The couches weren’t all that comfortable, but nothing a pillow couldn’t solve. Overall, it was a great experience!

We loved the area / property! It was as described and very comfortable. Hellen was an enjoyable area to visit! The weather was marvelious. We had no trouble following the arrival suggestions. The only negatives were the condition of the 1) access road, which would be troublesome during wet weather and 2) the house floor needed to be mopped.We really enjoyed the house and will return!

Easter getaway

After driving through downtown Helen GA for many years we finally decided to make a weekend out of it. The cabin was clean and perfectly located within a short distance of downtown Helen. There is an outdoor gazebo that is situated over a small creek that offers a perfect backdrop for a nighttime fire. Checking in with the management company was quick and easy. Their continued follow up throughput our stay was very convenient. If you have never stayed in the area, I recommend reading the local paper the cabin provided at check in.

Great Getaway

Cabin was exactly as shown. Super clean. Relaxing location yet within short driving distance to the town of Helen and many other places. We went to Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Cleveland, Anna Ruby Falls, Mount Yonah Trail and Brasstown Ball. Even took a partial day trip to Athens to visit the U of Georgia. Came back each night to a comfortable and relaxing evening at the cabin. Had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend this cabin.

Just the perfect amount of privacy

The property is just as depicted in the pictures but better in person ! The location is up a mountain on dirt/gravel roads but not difficult to navigate with an SUV. It was private with neighbors all around but no one very close at all. We used the firepit in the back and the fireplace inside the home and it was wonderful. It is important to know that you will need to bring a lighter and starter log and either preorder or buy wood for each. There is a store very close that is really resonable if you need to get anything. It's also important to note that there are no basic spices ( even salt and pepper) and no laundry supplies for the washer and dryer. This is noted in the body of the description of the rental but a picture of the laundry room shows supplies so I didn't catch that. But honestly those few things were tiny details that did not take away from our overall enjoyment of the cabin. Also, the customer service from Georgia Mountain Rentals was outstanding !!! I would highly recommend this rental. It is super close to Helen and main street and many other outdoor activities!

Loved the cozy yet spacious cabin with separate king sized rooms with en suites either side of the lounge and Kitchen.Enjoyed the jacuzzi during snow flurries while the lads went disc golfing. Plenty of towels to make that happen.Thank you had a fabulous time.

Amazing!

I’ll start by saying do not follow the GPS when arriving from Florida. Do not be like us, follow the directions that are given. We ended up on a dirt road in the dark with cliffs on both sides of us. We should have listened. When we arrived, alive and well, the property exceeded our expectations. A literal cabin in the woods, minutes from town. We stayed for 3 nights. On our second day it was rainy and I couldn’t have been more grateful for the rain. We stayed in the cabin with the fire going all day watching movies, eating snacks, and taking dips in the hot tub. The property was so clean with plenty of room for four people. We would definitely stay again!

Creekside bliss!

The cabin was well stocked with linens, towels, and soap. I really liked the layout of the cabin. The gazebo at the creek was a quiet place to reflect. Being close to Helen wasa bonus

Our stay at the cabin

Very nice location. Easy check in process and accessories at the cabin. About 3 miles from Helen which was perfect. If you want a nice quiet location, this is it. Has a nice outer enclosed, air conditioned porch. We absolutely would recommend it and plan to stay again soon.

Relaxing and peaceful cabin in the woods

This cabin is peaceful and relaxing in the woods. It is very clean, I am highly allergic to dogs and cats and with it being pet friendly you couldn't even tell that animals have stayed there. We loved the sunroom. It was so relaxing, we never even turned the TV's on. The beds and the living room furniture is comfortable. It has good water pressure and we had no issues with hot water with 4 people. I recommend updating the description, I reached out beforehand to see if there was a blender and I was told this property did not have one, so I took my own. When we got there there was a blender at the property. The description stated there was no dishwasher but there is a small dishwasher and you can use it but it needs to be mounted to the countertop. It is gravel roads with some deep dippets that need to be filled with gravel and smoothed out. My truck did good, my best friends dodge challenger was a bit of struggle. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay!

Great cabin in the woods in a good location! Loved the fact that both bedrooms had king size beds! When you have 4 adults traveling that makes it even better....no one likes to sleep in a twin bed....the hot tub was also welcome in the cool evenings, and the bubble of the little creek by the gazebo was very nice!

HOLIDAY!!

What a delightful getaway. It was perfect for my husband myself and our yorkie. We could enjoy the sounds of silence or the sounds of the creek by the creek. If we wanted to take a stroll, the road was there for us with nature talking to us. Thank you.

So peaceful!

We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely come again! The only thing to watch out for is that the chimney is too small for the fireplace so the place gets smoky if you use the fireplace, which we did every night! When we got home all of our belongings reeked of fireplace smoke. But that wasn’t that big of a deal really. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!
