The owners have beautifully converted the old power house at the back of the park, a characterful relic of the areas coal mining history and the colliery that once operated on this site, into a wonderful spa with the Sovereign Suite above.Guests staying, while having daily use of the gym and spa facilities benefit from exclusive use from 8pm till 9pm every evening - what a way to relax at the end of the day with the choice of a sauna, steam room and spa pool! Your private stairs lead up to the open-plan living space in the roof of this historical building where the character and features of its industrial past have been retained. Both gable ends have been glazed and one Juliette balcony added to really maximise the views over the valley. Furnished to a high standard with an L-shaped modern, fitted kitchen area, comfy sofas to relax on, all offering lovely views; while a king size bed and separate shower room with double shower complete the accommodation.You are welcome to enjoy the landscaped grounds of the Country Park, or Saundersfoot with its range of facilities and glorious sandy beaches are just a 10 minute walk away. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and explore this stunning coastline, traveling east and walk through the tunnels, left from the areas industrial coal mining history to the beaches of Coppet Hall with its award winning restaurant, Coast, or further on is Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth, both with beachside pubs where you can enjoy a drink or meal overlooking the beach and sea ready for the return journey.A foot path that recently opened leads from the train station and runs past the entrance to the park and down into Saundersfoot and the golden beaches.The medieval walled town of Tenby lies to the west with its range of pubs, shops and restaurants set on pretty cobbled streets, as well as a picturesque harbour and wonderful sandy beaches.
