This cottage restored with elegant stone walls is located near the quiet town of Saumur, known for its castle. The house as a starting point is ideal to discover the culture and customs of the region. The famous castles of the Loire attract visitors from all over the world; that of Saumur is also located on the rivers of the Loire. In Montsoreau you will find another castle, smaller but also picturesque. Be tempted by a visit to the Flèche Zoo (55 km) or take a walk to Angers (64 km), its museums and its castle or even to Le Mans (120 km), the mystical 24-hour circuit and its fortified ancient city .

A fantastic cottage

We had a wonderful stay in this property. It is even more beautiful than the photos show with a lovely patio area and a large garden. The owners, Karen and Andre, live across the road and are incredibly helpful. At 3km for us it was the perfect distance from Saumur, quiet and peaceful but easy to access the town when you need it. The thoughtful touches on arrival of wine, flowers and charcoal for the BBQ were really appreciated. All in all, a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it.
