Mountainside Retreat-fully stocked

Welcome to Clove Cottage.
A quiet get away in the middle of the woods near state land, hiking, streams & waterfalls. For those seeking nature, wildlife & viewing of the stars at night. Small get togethers are welcomed with pre-approval. Rental includes use of the cottage, converted barn, charcoal grill, fire pit and hot tub. Firewood is supplied. Host is always available and right down the road. Please no parties. This property is meant to be used as a peaceful mountain side retreat.
The space
The house and barn have been restored to a cozy and sun filled space that blends rustic charm with modern clean lines. The property is laid out to accommodate large parties comfortable with the main house, restored barn, yoga deck, hot tub and outdoor large stone fireplace.
Guest access
You get 2 houses on the same property. Main house & the converted barn. The barn is fully functioning for use and serves as a great gathering space with a Franklin wood burning stove, mini kitchen, couches, roku tv & 2 queen beds in the loft. Brand new 2 person hot tub with deck.
Other things to note
Please do not leave any food or garbage outside the house especially during bear season.

There are trash & recycle bins in the garage hutch which is attached to the front of red barn. This unit was specially built to keep bears out. Feel free to use it. Otherwise upon check out please leave your trash inside the house. We will deal with it when you leave.

Summer - There are AC’s & Fans in both units for your comfort. Please shut them all off upon your departure. Will try our best to have them on for your arrival.

Winter- heat should be turned down to 60 degrees when you leave.

Hot Tub. Please leave it covered when not in use. So it does not get full of leaves and debris.
