I went to Saskatoon on an unplanned trip and had to spend the night. I went and registered at the Front desk, and got my room right away . Because I was a returning guest. I paid for two nights and got the relaxation i really needed. I had a good rest.

Over the last year plus we have been coming to Quality Inn and Suites on a fairly regular basis, once a month at least spending 2-4 nights at a time. We like the main floor rooms facing Ave B, although the main floor facing Idylwyld are quite nice too. It is so nice to be able to directly access our room from outside as well as through the lobby. Within a couple of stays the front desk remembered us, even our names! It is so nice to be welcomed by name when we walk through the doors. Breakfast is a treat, especially due to the wonderful welcome we get from the breakfast staff, although I must say there is a large selection of food and beverages to choose from. The coffee is amazing, and is available at the front after breakfast too. Every employee we pass in the hall says hello. Last time we stayed there was maintenance that needed to be done to our door card lock. The maintenance guy was pleasant, and when I remarked that we had a light bulb burnt out he promptly replaced it. Ricky's all day Grill is a great restaurant to order room service from. But make sure you go online to access their full menu as the one in the room is quite limited. Overall the only slight complaint we have is that Ricky's closes at 9 I wish it was open later. We stayed at this hotel the night before leaving on a family vacation with our 3 kids. The front desk attendant was super pleasant & helpful. The room was smaller but clean & quiet. It had everything we needed. They also allowed us to leave our vehicle for a small fee of $30 (no charge if you stay at the hotel upon departure & return) & offered a free shuttle/taxi to the airport. We had to pay a fee for a taxi to take us back to the hotel as we did not stay upon return. Overall this was a very convenient, affordable, clean & friendly hotel.

I recently stayed at the hotel on business. The rooms were very spacious, modern and comfortable beds. There was also a good variety for breakfast. If you are looking for a place to stay I highly recommend it as it is very close to the city centre and well priced. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is that you do hear people in the corridor in the night and the neighbourhood isn't the best

This hotel was easy to find,we had a fast and efficient check in, and the room was spacious and clean. We loved that there was no carpet on the floors. Free wifi ,fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in room and the bed was sooooo comfortable, especially good as they use fitted sheets which stay in place for the whole night. We requested to be changed from the second floor room to which we were assigned to a main floor room with door front parking and this was done immediately but for a $5.00 charge. Not sure why the charge as the rooms were the same and the change just seemed to require a change of cards which took less than a minute. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, Ricky's, where we had supper. Good food and good service. The hotel provides an ample free breakfast and the lady looking after the breakfast is a delight. This hotel is in a convenient location, it was quiet and comfortable and we would stay again.

My boyfriend was doing training in Saskatoon and his company made the hotel arrangements. He checked into the room for 4 nights. Upon check in he was asked for a credit card for incidentals. He told the front desk agent that the company would be responsible for the room charges and they did not charge him. Upon check in he told the front desk agent that we had a dog, she didn't ask him to fill out any paperwork until we were already in the room. After a long day of travel he forgot to go to the desk to pay the pet fee and fill out the paperwork. We were in the room for 3 days, in which I requested no service each day. On the third day around 2:00 pm two housekeepers knocked at the door. I told them I would not require service. They said it was policy to clean the room after three days. This should be brought to the guests attention before demanding it gets cleaned and expecting the guest to accommodate these policies on demand. I told them my dog did not like strangers. I also said I have no where to go am I supposed to sit in the room while you clean it? They said yes. I told them I needed a minute to put some things away. They knocked at the door rushing me to open it. When I opened it up I put my dog down and he started barking and getting upset. The housekeeper continued to come into my room unwelcome and use the phone. She handed the phone to me and one of the managers Kayla told me that Andrew was to come to the desk and fill out the paperwork, pay for the pet fee and incidentals that were previously waved at check in. I told her I would let him know. She should be dealing with the person registered to the room for these issues. After hanging up Kayla and the lady housekeeper from a few minutes ago were at the door. At this point I was feeling uncomfortable. She repeated the same information to me as a few minutes prior. I repeated yes I will let him know. Give minutes later, yet another employee comes to move the t.v. from where we placed it so we could watch from bed. He went to the front desk and paid the pet fee and the once again was not charged the so called mandatory incidentals. The next morning after breakfast we went to confirm that we had a 3:00 check out that was discussed at check in. She said there was no record of it and that they could only do until 1:00 pm. I made them aware that it was previously discussed and that o had no vehicle in the city to go anywhere and that my dog and I would be forced to wait outside. They showed no compassion at all and said it was a strict policy. On this day I also called head office to make a complaint to the royal hotel group. They said Yvonne would be in contact with me that day. No word from her at all but I got a call from Kayla stating that there was confusion about our check out time and that there was a note on our reservation. Today i got an email from Yvonne which was completely rude and unprofessional, backing up her employees before even hearing one word i had to say. The experience could have been used to excel in customer service, but instead no one even listened to our concerns. We were treated terrible and these people should be embarrassed of how they treated us when they failed to do their jobs in a professional manner right from check in.

Loved staying in this hotel. Reasonable rates. Friendly check-in. Room was spacious and clean. Fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, free Wi-Fi. Hot breakfast was included. Especially liked our ground floor room. Instead of having to go through the lobby, we had direct outside access from the room. To go outside, we could unbolt the inside lock, go outside and, when returning, use a key to get back into the room. The door itself was extremely heavy and we did not feel that this was any less secure than going through the lobby.

Me and my husband stayed one night on Sept 19, 2017. Our room was a 2 room junior suite, it was clean and very spacious! In one room it had a living room area with a couch and chairs, a large tv, a kitchen area with a table and chairs. In the other room was the bedroom with another large tv, a large vanity and the bathroom. We were on the ground floor and we were able to park our car directly outside our room. There is also a restaurant and a lounge next door to the hotel. We had an end unit #102, very quiet and private. I believe the hotel has been updated as it had laminate flooring throughout the suite. In the morning it was a treat to have a complimentary hot breakfast which ran from 6am-10am. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming 😊Overall it was a great stay and I totally recommend this location! I look forward to staying again the next time we are in town!

Stayed at Quality Inn for a single overnight as we travelled to Edm. Our room was spacious and clean (no carpet) and the morning breakfast was extensive and well stocked. The lady looking after the breakfast was the nicest, most sincere person we've ever met in this industry. This location is perfect for short visits but is a bit too far from downtown to take advantage of the cool restaurants that S'toon has to offer.

We stayed here on our way through to Alberta and we were impressed! It's obviously been redone recently, the lobby is fresh and welcoming, and the decor is modern and well done. The check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, and looked inviting. And importantly, the bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable! Simply hotel, nothing fancy but I would say excellent for what you pay! Would definitely stay again. One downside is that the attached Ricky's closes at 9 so we had to go out to find food. Oh and the breakfast has the option of gluten free bread, and has a good selection of other stuff.
