I like Mercure hotels a lot, and prefer them in France. But this is an exception. The staff were very friendly, and there is a nice enough area to sit outside. But the issue was my room was very small. I was staying alone, and yet my room felt cramped to the point of being claustrophobic. I did not even have enough space to put my luggage. For the money I paid I thought it was poor value for money.
We got stuck here as our motorbike broken down and we had to wait for almost three days to get it repaired. The hotel is actually quite good, even for an industrial area, good connection to town centre. Food selection could be better but the desserts are absolutely amazing. The best part was the staff. Taking into account our situation they were really really helpful and lovely all the time. They definitely made the difference. HUGE THANK YOU, GUYS.....we'll be back, that's for sure :).
Very comfortable, easily located Hotel. Reception and staff service very friendly and patient with our attempt at the language! Hotel room more than adequate for a one night stopover, comfortable and very clean. Meals in the Hotel were very good and reasonably priced; both the evening and breakfast selection.
Excellent hotel, staff brilliant, food in restaurant also very good, limited menu meaning its cooked to order not microwaved. But outstanding value Only draw back is the Wi-Fi. Hotel is not in the centre but only a 15min walk to the SNCF station. Worth a visit.
Stayed here twice in July on a trip to the UK and back. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and check-in easy. Our bedrooms were both very small, OK for an overnight, but wouldn't want to use this hotel as a holiday base. The bathrooms were very clean, as was the bedroom. Breakfast is as copious as you want it to be, with something to please everyone, including English bacon and eggs. Dinner I thought was disappointing, acceptable but nothing to write home about. As for the wine, 7€ for a 10cl glass, come on, that's over 50€ a bottle. There's mark up, and there's robbery. All in all, a mixed bag, but I would stay here again as it's handily placed for us when visiting the UK.
Booked this 4 star hotel for a bit of luxury on our last night of a trip through France, Spain and Portugal. We are used to staying in the Mercure chain in the UK but this hotel is a refurbished, modern hotel with small rooms, a tiny acrylic desk and chair and no room to relax. The room was modern and clean with a nice, bright bathroom, which had had the previously blue strip of tiles painted Mercure brown. The staff were excellent and friendly. The food was good but expensive (€100 for 2) . Overall a typical IBIS Styles hotel, but certainly not a 4 star Mercure.
Easy to find. Free parking. Staff were very attentive. Easy signing in, restaurant has been refurbished since we were here last, the waitress was overworked but was exceptionally good no one was kept waiting. Food was very good some of the best food I have had in hotels. The rooms also have had a revamp and are now bright and airy. Free wifi which was a bit hit and miss.
Lovely lady at the reception so nice congrats!! Hotel is situated outside of LeMans which is good to avoid traffic. I stayed one night, hotel is quite modern, I'm afraid I'll have to say like others that it looks much like a modern Ibis styles. Room is cosy and recently renovated id say. Clean room and the AC is a plus, parking is big and free. Room 128 is a good one. I would go back there and recommend it
This hotel suited us as it meant we could get in and out of he city easily. We were given a very warm welcome when we arrived and an apology because as it was a Sunday here was a limited menu. Our room though smaller than we usually expect was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and everything was refilled quickly. Dinner was OK , I wish we could say it was good but it wasn't bad. The saff made the hotel great.
Stay here when visiting the track at Le Man - its only a short 20 min max drive away. restaurant is good, if not a little limited on choice. Bedrooms comfy and ample parking Even managed to park a truck in there for a night. Great inexpensive place to crash when in the area.
