Beautiful Sarlat Home in a Perfect Location

This spacious lovely appointed home is an easy walking distance to the Sarlat town centre and at the same time - it is quietly tucked away that makes you feel that you are in your own little oasis. Our host Yves met us upon arrival and provided a complete tour of the property and amenities. Our stay was everything we expected + more! We thoroughly enjoyed the large living room and dining room as well as the outdoor terrace. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone!! Thank you Christine & Yves for sharing your beautiful home.

Great location

Great location - just a quick walk to the old town and shops. Lovely spacious lounge and outdoor area allowed everyone to have their own space. Good laundry facilities. Dated but comfortable upstairs bedroom and bathrooms. Only one shower in the 5 bathrooms. Good communication with owners.

Dordogne Gem

We had a fantastic time staying at this property in the Dordogne, the location is perfect. The Owen Yves met us on arrival to go through everything in the property, he is an absolute gentleman. We will most definitely revisit this property again.

Fantastic week in Sarlat with friends.

3 couples staying in Christine’s place was a dream come true. We had plenty of space to cook and eat either indoors or out. Sleeping accommodations were very good. The location was walkable to the twice weekly open air downtown markets in Sarlat - don’t miss these! The parking on site was very easy. All in all - friends with whom we have discussed our travels are interested in booking this place for their next trip. Thanks Christine!

Sarlat

Warm welcome by the friendly owner making sure that we will be comfortable in his home. Has even taken the time to prepare brochures and spent time with us to give recommendations as far as what to visit and do in the aera. Very nice touch. Beautiful property, very quiet and private and 10mn walk from the medieval city of Sarlat. If you want to enjoy coffee, lunch or dinner, the patio is very welcoming and well protected from the sun. I would highly recommend this property and even thinking about coming back.

Superb!

Excellent property and owners were very responsive when we had questions. Really appreciated the careful instructions on walking into town. We loved shopping at the market and found almost everything we needed to cook wonderful meals. Lovely place for family.

Home magnificent in every way. Outdoor terrace and grounds well taken care of. Yves, our host spent hours explaining the workings of the house . House provided every comfort. Only suggestion is to put red tape on the bottom marble stair in foyer

Notre séjour était parfait

La maison est pleine de charme, très vaste, dans le calme absolu, sans vis-a-vis, bien confortable. Situe juste à proximité (7 min à pied) de la vielle ville de Sarlat-La-Caneda, l’une de plus belle ville de Dordogne. Large terrasse de cette belle maison vous permet de passer les soirées agréables, observant le beaux jardin dans la fraîcheur du soir. Merci à Christine et Yves pour leurs accueil chaleureux.

beautiful and spacious villa

Fantastic place

A quiet, spacious (interior and exterior) with many amenities (e.g., en suite bathrooms, laundry, indoor and outdoor dining). A 5 to 10 minute walk puts you in downtown Sarlat, handy for restaurants and the Saturday Market. Highly recommended.

The ideal house in Sarlat la Caneda

We, 3 couples, stayed at the house for 7 days. As expected, we found it suitable for our needs: each couple has its privacy by having a large and comfortable door with a private bathroom. There were 2 more rooms. The kitchen is well equipped , but a little small. The living room and the dining rooms are large and beautiful decoration. The whole house was clean lighted and very pleasant. The garden is very large (SqM 7,000 ) and the whole area is calm and quite. Upon our arrival, we welcomed warmly by the lovely owners who showed us the house. The house is located in the "forest" but not far from the beautiful Sarlat la Caneda (10 minutes walking distance. All of us were happy to accommodate in this house and it made all our journey to the Dordogne Region very very successful. Aharo Hildesheimer and friends.
