Coco Sunset Paradise

This experience was the most amazing vacation we have ever had. The property is located on the top of a hill and had the best sunset views in all of Coco Beach. The host was wonderful and had the opportunity to meet them. The space was very clean and well maintained by the handy man Pablo who we got to know dearly. Eduardo was always available when we had any questions and provided us with a phenomenal guide book of things to do, restaurant suggestions, and tips about certain beaches to explore, we found this extremely useful during our stay. Coco beach is a beautiful little town with everything you need. Many different variety of restaurants and souvenir shops and so many attractions to do like ATV, visiting the national parks and seeing so much wildlife. We always spent our days on the beaches and came back to the condo to catch the most magical sunsets we have ever seen. We were lucky enough to see whales migrating from the rooftop with our binoculars. We had the best weather and got to know a few other travelers staying there during our time and will be keeping in touch! We would highly recommend this booking if you are looking to stay in Coco Beach!!! I can’t thank Eduardo enough for the best stay and his continued communication throughout our vacation. We did not have a vehicle however, it was very easy to walk around town and when we needed groceries, taxis are always available.

High hopes but…

To begin, we have experienced 85 rentals over the past 13 months. Amazing location, responsive hosts, great pool, A/C, rooftop views & putting green. We were told the building is only 1 year old but there were many issues, some more significant. Overall cleanliness was poor (layer of grime/dirt/film on floors, all dishes, mirrors & television). The balcony had to be swept, patio doors were dirty (fingerprints/dirt). We had to clean any dishes before use, washed the floors ourselves & extra cleaning - unit left cleaner than before we arrived. A spill down the side of the stove & onto the floor & bathroom door handle was very loose (in fairness, owner fixed these issues right away). Unit was advertised (when booked) with “gym” & “no children” - there was no gym & children were there for almost the entire 20 days we stayed. Children & no gym not big issues & we made great use of the pool instead. Patches on some walls/ceilings, some pencil marks on bedroom walls & wooden shelves on angles, missing light bulb beside bed, water drips from the ceiling (above patio door onto balcony when rains). No basic provisions (salt, pepper), only 1 1/2 rolls toilet paper & gas tank for hot water/stove, which you refill if it runs out. Bedroom curtain rods loose & doors don’t lock (even with keys). Many minor issues but together, detracted from what could have been an amazing stay. Hire a proper cleaner, inspect before guests arrive and will be a 5-star with more attention to detail.
