Great view

We had a wonderful, relaxing time in Coco at Casa Christopher! The whole process was smooth and professional, agents were very helpful, and available at all to us at times. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and very well located. We had everything we needed on-site to ensure a stress-free holiday. Being so close to the ocean cove was fantastic! The local scene, restaurants & people were fantastic. Freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee and locally grown Cacao -incredible! Security was excellent, we felt safe everywhere. Just can't say enough about the whole experience. My family and I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful deck view. My only complaint is that there are not enough beach chairs. There are only 2 for a 3 bedroom condo. Lissa helped with check in and was very helpful. Bedrooms and living areas are very nice.

Exceptional Service!

We ended up coming a day early to this location (after some super rainy weather) and we were welcomed by Alex who made our stay incredible! He met with us as we entered town and guided us to the condo to make sure we found it easily. He checked in on us via text and even brought a bounty of local fruit and coffee the next day. We felt very welcomed and pampered and highly recommend this location! It was an easy walk to the beach, the room was stocked with snorkeling gear, toys and games. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming with enough room for the 7 of us to lounge and enjoy the beautiful view. We saw monkeys in the tree outside our window and enjoyed the tide pools, brittle stars and endless shells at the beach! Thanks for a great experience! :)

Beautiful view!

The condo was very spacious and well equipped. It's located right above a beach, with a gorgeous view of the bay. The property has 24-hour security and 2 pools. The sunrises and sunsets were breath taking.

Paradise

Tucked away from town , this is the perfect beach house ! Sunrise & sunset was breath taking. Clean , spacious , fully equipped kitchen was a blessing! Short walk to beach- easier going down then up , be prepared for leg day lol. House stocked with beach stuff & board games… don’t play “taco cat goat cheese pizza” too late or you will get a noise complaint (so sorry about that) fun game though haha. Make sure to get reservations for father roosters especially for dinner.. you will not be able to just walk up.

Love this condo and Playa Ocotal!

We had never traveled to the Guanacaste area before and hit the jackpot with this condo! Spacious, clean, with a wonderful lanai looking over the beach. The condo manager Damián was always available and helpful. We loved being able to walk to the beach and Father Roosters. The gated community with security and 2 really nice pools was really nice. We explored all the other beaches in the area and were SO HAPPY to be at this condo in Ocotal. It is quieter and more family oriented, spending Christmas Day on the beach with local families was such a treat! And highly recommended snorkeling around the rocks to the beach to the north, Playa Gringo, a beautiful beach all to yourself. If/when we come back, we will not stay anywhere else!

Great Location

Condo was clean and located right above the beach. It was almost like a private beach with tons of snorkeling and exploring for the kids. The condo association had 3 pools and 24 hour security.

Fantastic location and view

#41 at Los Almendros is a huge 3br unit situated atop a cliff just a stones throw from Playa Ocatal. The unit boasts a new refrigerator, a new dishwasher and updated washer dryer. The A/C was cool when needed and the power was reliable. Sitting out on our deck at Sunset provided world class views of the bay. Lightning storms and lightning bugs added to the show. Howler monkeys sang and danced in the trees while the Costa Rican Motmot chirped his lovely tune. No it's not paradise, but it is closer to it than Cleveland is.

Sunset view is amazing

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The beach is great for snorkeling and relaxing. You can not beat the view from the condo at sunset. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. The check in process was great. I was really impressed with the Zindis group. Our flight got canceled going home and they went above and beyond to find as another place to stay.

THE COSTA RICA STAY

IT WAS A PLEASURE STAYING IN THE HOME WITH MY FAMILY. TO SEE HOW HAPPY MY FAMILIES WAS AND THE GRANBEBES FILLED MY HEART. IT WAS A PERFECT LOCATION. THANK YOU FOR ACCOMMODATING US WITH THE PLAYPENS. WE MET GREAT INDIVIDUALS, LOVED THE RESTAURANT, THE BEACH WATER WAS BEAUTIFUL. LOOK FORWARD IN RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE! ***FYI: THE HOUSE NEEDED A LIL CLEANING, BED SHEETS & PILLOWS WERE VERY NASTY (WE HAD WASH ALL THE BEDDINGS), THE MATTRESSES WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE (WE ALL HAD BACK PAINS, LOL), WE WASHED ANY DISHES THAT WE USED BEFORE AND AFTER, THE LAUNDRY ROOM WAS PRETTY DIRTY. SORRY FOR THE COMPLAINT EVEN THOUGH YOUR IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING THE HOME.

More than we could have hoped for!

Everything was greaT from my first messages to Seth to a vacation home that had everything we needed. The pictures were accurate! We loved having so much space. Travelling with a six month old has its own challenges but having a pack and play and high chair made available was so helpful! Full kitchen had everything! New appliances, dishwasher, laundry! We felt spoiled! You do need to bring all your “extras”…laundry detergent, dishwasher pods…and normal kitchen needs…salt/pepper, will need to purchase extra paper towel, toilet paper but that’s expected. Just be prepared. There were lots of bath/beach towels. A couple hand towels but no face cloths, dish cloths. Again…not a big deal! The view from our patio was truly breathtaking! I could have just stayed there happily☺️. The unit is at the top of a very short and super steep street! Good cardio workout lol The beach was lovely! Black sand was so unique! Be careful of snorkeling too near the rocks. They are full of sea urchins that can prove quite a sting if you pass over them and touch them by mistake! Beautiful to look at from a distance! Don’t miss Father Roosters! Delicious food and drink! I am already trying to negotiate a return trip to this paradise! Thank you again Seth for your beautiful condo! A trip to remember, for sure!

Pura Vida Location

Front the booking to check out was easy! We were nervous a bit on how to get there but Waze knew exactly where we needed to go. It was 35 mins from airport. The road to get there was winding but easy. After checkin, we drove to our spot (very steep), walked in and BAM amazing!! The pictures posted were accurate. View of the bay was outstanding. The beds were comfy and the home had all the comforts including a washer and dryer. The location was centrally located for our day trips. The staff was helpful and always looked cheery. There was a restaurant on the beach where we captured some great sunsets. Grocery store was close. Local sodas were yummy!! Overall, we loved it!! Pura Vida Folks!!

Once we found it, everything was great

Condo was large, ac worked great, beach access was a short walk down the driveway, pool was fantastic, beds were fine, kitchen was good, location was perfect. We arrived late and Costa Rica is different with addresses and road sigs, or lack of. Our gps completely failed us but we stumbled our way through screen shots we took of directions. Night guards did not speak English, but we’re helpful with google translate. Coco beach area for groceries is near by. I will stay here again. It was nice.

Best Value off the beaten path

Though not the newest or most recently updated, certainly it is the best value. Secure, easily accessible, and comfortable, this 3 bedroom unit fit the bill for our family. Everything on the property worked and all amenities were as described. The view from the balcony was obscenely perfect at sundown, and the only noises were muted by the perfect acoustics of the waves crashing day and night. We rented a car, and covered parking was provided with this unit, keeping us cool and secure day and night. Access to Playa del Coco and 6 other local beaches, along with boating offered on Playa Ocotal (200 meters from our front door) kept us entertained. Plenty of food options rounded out a great week for us. We will be back!

Location view comfort

Great place to stay, didn't want to leave. Couldn't stop looking out at the gorgeous view. Perfect size for the 5 of us. Close to everything we wanted to do but far from crowds. Very comfortable. Made it our own. Gerardo, the property manager, was amazing. Gave us fantastic places and things to do. Seth was very easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

Great location, dated condo

We arrived around 5pm and there was nobody at the gate to give us the key. Messaged the owner who is (I think) in the US and got no reply. The guard eventually showed up and we were let in. The condo is huge and very clean with a fantastic view over the beach. A 5 min walk gets you to the beach. But, the condo has not been maintained and many things are old and need to be replaced. There was no laundry detergent provided or instructions on how to access the room (it has a fake lock). These were sorted out quickly after I messaged the owner. If he would invest in some upgrade of the place, it would easily be a 5* review.

Great stay!

We had a great time. The location was amazing. The condo overlooks Playa Ocotal and has great sunset views. It's an easy walk down the hill to get to the beach. Security was friendly. I would definitely stay here next time we are in town.
