As advertised but lacking maintenance and service
First the good: the location is stunning, the suites are nice, the kitchen is the most well stocked for a vacation rental that I have ever seen, pool is phenomenal. Be aware the suites only connect from the outside next to a busy fast road so not ideal for small children, the tap water undrinkable, and the 70-somethings in our group found the place very inaccessible (e.g., lacking stair railings, poorly lit, difficulty with warped doors, etc.). Those would not be issues for everyone but other aspects were surprising for this level of rental and price. We had power outages, water outages, a hot water outage. An electrician who came by commented on the shady wiring. The owners provided minimal supplies -- even the hand soap dispensers were down to the dregs. They did not answer a single question on the app leading up to our stay (for instance they did not explain about the disconnected suites when I asked) and sent a message detailing the precise (very modest) number of supplies they would provide but then didn't even provide those. Once we were at the house, they DID respond to messages on the app within an hour and came over more than once and addressed every issue quickly. Though they would not provide their phone number despite my asking many times: when standing there wondering for the 3rd time whether we would be able to cook, drink, shower, flush, I just would have loved to talk with an actual person.
