Great staff. Great hotel close to beach. Free bike rental but be sure arrangements to check them out ahead of time as there were none available so we had to rent bikes down the street.

We were checked in to a room that hadn't been cleaned from whoever had it before us. Unmade bed tipped us off. The next room they gave us had ants all over the counter...at that point we just sucked it up for 2 nights and got outta there. Location is the only plus so spend a little more and go elsewhere....

As always we are very pleased with our stay at the facility, ad we will be back shortly.

Great air conditioning and room setup. Our only complaint was the clock on the bathroom door didn't work. Someone could easily walk in on you if not paying attention. We would stay here again though. We had a blast.

Park the car and walk!!! Across the street from world class white sand beach walk the other way to great dining and local entertainment. Mail your friends a coconut! Just write the address on the fruit, and take to local post office! They will be so jealous!

We have used Orbitz for our travel arrangements all year. Having to go to Siesta Beach Resorts is the worst recommendation. Because of Hurricane Matthew we had to evacuate and, unfortunately we could only get reservations and had to GUARANTEE a THREE-DAY STAY. The first room we were assigned was absolutely disgusting. Peeling furniture, grime in the grout, horrible smells in the drawers of the chest and a bathroom I wouldn't use as I noticed the 'stuff' in the corner. My husband complained and we were given the next door room which was a little bigger with the same problems as listed above. The saving grace was the shower which was adequate. Although we paid for THREE DAYS, we left after two, forfeiting our PAID third day. NO ONE SHOULD STAY AT THIS MOTEL UNTIL IT HAS BEEN RENOVATED - ESPECIALLY THE GROUND FLOOR.

Hotel is older, could use some updating, but over all not bad , great location to beach and dinning , beds very comfortable, staff friendly, we will be back!!!!

Close to the beach. Clean, affordable, nice staff . Fjsjfjsjd

The place needs some updating (doors/walls worn out or paint pealing) and the room was small but everything was very very clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly and Rickie was a great person to get anything you wanted or needed. All were very courteous and cared that you have a great vacation.

This hotel has a great location and that was our reason for staying there. Strong smell of bleach upon arrival, not sure if it meant it was clean or was covering up something else. Bed linens were rough. Room was very dated, but fine for one night.

Location and value at the greatest beach on the west coast of FLA!

The property was in a perfect spot- across from beach access and walkable to the shopping/food district. Room was comfy and spacious. Shower could have been better and cable faltered but the big problem was mold in the air system- vent was black from it. Became very Ill.

Very friendly staff and great location!! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable!! I only wish the room had an actual cooktop. The kitchenette was really just a small frig. But overall, we were very pleased!

The location is grand, close to good restaurants and shops. Night Life is great and safe, service everywhere is excellent. Staff is very accommodating. We shall return.

We spent two days in Sarasota and did not need to stay at an expensive hotel right on the beach. This motel really cute. It was within walking distance of the beach, was extremely clean, the staff were awesome. We were given Danish and coffee in the morning, and that was in addition our coffee pot in our room. The staff gave us on request numerous packets of coffee without blinking an eye. We will stay here again the next time we visit Sarasota, Florida.

The location is ideal! right across the street from Siesta Key beach and right on the main drag where everything is going on... As far as Hotel itself i would say its average.. i would go go back :)

I booked this for an out of town guest and myself (I am local) and was shocked at the amount of mold and mildew on the lamps, doors, floors and curtains. Very nasty. However the location is right where you want to be and the bed was clean which was the good news. The bath was just barely adequate so I would not stay there again. Next time if this is the only room and hotel (which it was when I booked), I will skip Siesta Key.

We spent a week here traveling with friends from up north. The reviews we had read ran from very good to not so good, so we were a little concerned. It turns out we were happily surprised. The people in the front office were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect with everything within walking distance. The heated pool area was very pleasant, especially since the weather was unfortunately too cold for the beach. Our only disappointment was that while the room was clean and everything worked, it was a bit shabby and could have used an update on the paint and furniture. However, this didn't detract much from an enjoyable stay.

Siesta Beach Resort is a nice "old Florida" style hotel. The location is perfect for walking to the beach as well as into the Village where the restaurants and shops are located (both only a couple blocks away). We enjoyed the quiet small setting, clean pool with tropical plants, outdoor seating areas, and outdoor grills. Parking was also convenient.

We stayed at the Siesta Beach Resort. Using the term resort is a bit of a stretch because this is really a motel. Although the overall motel is a bit outdated, our room had been updated and was clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Everything worked: hair dryer, TV, heat/AC. I can't attest to wi-fi because I have 3G service on my tablet so had no problem connecting. The location is great right in the heart of Siesta Key Village steps from the beach voted number one in the country as well as restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. There is lots to do in Siesta Key and Sarasota.

Thank you so much for the excellent recognition of our staff. We agree the free bikes are a big hit and we limit usage to 3 hours so everyone can enjoy.
