The place was great but the manager is probably the worst I have dealt in my entire life. I reported some items missing on Friday. Nothing. Asked on Saturday twice. Nothing. Asked on Sunday. Nothing. At that point I made a claim on Airbnb. Guess what? He called and said he found the items and said he would ship them. It was a blue tooth speaker and a pair of Costos Sunglasses. My speaker showed up but the sunglasses were a $5.00 pair. They switched out my glasses and I’m sure they are all laughing about. Make your own decisions but I for one will be steering clear of this place.

I stayed in unit 5S and was very happy with it. The location is excellent with amazing views of the gulf. I walked out of the unit and right on to the beach. It is easily accessible and has all the amenities you need. With 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, it is perfect for a family. I look forward to staying here again.

This place is well maintained and the location is great. The private beach was quiet with lots a neat little shells to comb through. The pool area and game room were really nice. Our beds were comfy as was the sitting room furniture. Happy with our stay here.

Villa #28 was perfect. Close to the beach and pool. The trolley picks you up at the front of property and takes you to Siesta Key Village and will bring you back at no charge. Great location. The stay for the week in June for a family of 6 was only $1600.00. For the price and location with having your own private house is great. Will be back for sure.

We stayed in Villa 24 for 5 days as a girls trip. The location was perfect! Right on the beautiful, private beach of Siesta Key but close enough to the downtown area with the free SCAT trolley. We hit up the local Publix for food and the Five Below for beach umbrellas and water floaties. If you have a late flight, ask for a late checkout....they are super accommodating when it is an option. The pool area is a great choice when you want a break from the sand. We found both the Villa and the common areas clean and well maintaned. 10/10 would recommend.

What made the Island House for us is the amazing beach. The sand is so white and fine, it is almost fake! There are heaps of loungers and it's not over-crowded at all. The accommodation is a really nice set up, with rows of villas, and the grounds are really well kept. The pool is nice, and functional - it did get quite busy on occasion though. To be honest, we were typically only there if it was too windy to be on the beach. The villa we stayed in (24) was nice, if a little bit tired on the inside. It kind of added to the charm though, and helped make us feel we could relax as a family with 2 small kids. Location wise, you're right on the beach, and about 5-10 mins in a taxi from the Village centre, which is ideal.

A girls trip with 6 of us, we stayed in Villa 1 from a Wed to Sun. We received several emails prior to arrival with instructions and an app to download. Early check in was available and when we arrived the Villa was easy to locate and very clean. All the neighbors were very nice and friendly as well as the staff. They were quick to answer any of our questions. The beach area has chairs available, or you can rent canopies. There were always plenty of chairs and the private beach area was not overly crowded. If you are after seashells, this was a great area. Don't miss the sunset! Night time when the tide went out was the best time to find larger ones, but you could walk out anytime of the day and find smaller ones. We stayed on the beach in the mornings, and went to the pool in the afternoon. Pool area was always clean with chairs available. We usually had the pool to ourselves for majority of the afternoon. Pool is heated with the club house right next door. Vending machines and activities were available. There is a SCAT free bus stop directly outside of the resort to the left to get to Turtle Beach or Point of the Rocks. You had to cross the street to get the bus stop going into the Village. We usually rode the bus to Turtle Beach and stayed on until it turned around to go to the Village. There are also other free ride companies that would come directly to the resort to pick us up. The resort is quite after about 8pm but this wasn't an issue for us, as we were usually in the Village having dinner or drinks. Check out was simple, and we were able to leave any of our unopened food and drinks instead of just throwing them away. You could check out via the app, or simply lock the door and leave. In all this was a great area for a girls trip, but would also be great for families.

I love the renovations to the pool with the painted ocean! The room this year (12 south) has a great view of the ocean and sunset! If your reserving anywhere on the island, it better be here! I got a tan from the pool and beach. The pool water was fantastic and warm! At night the pool feels great! Wish I could live here honestly! 🌅

Our condo on Crescent Beach was recently redone with fabulous ocean views. There were plenty of beach chairs, and it was never crowded. The Crescent Beach sand was as cool and beautiful as reported. We can’t wait to return next year.

I hated to give just 3 stars, but there seemed to be some maintenance issues with villa 39. The villa is nicely decorated, but the tile floors are in dire need of a professional cleaning. I tried to clean an oily, slippery spot and couldn’t believe how dirty the paper towels became. I’m sure I could have gotten the same results from most of the rest of the floor. The entire kitchen could use a thorough cleaning. Cockroaches in kitchen! Alerted staff. I hope they sprayed! I love Island House. I hope they can resolve these issues.
