The hotel is right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets right outside your door. The room was OK. The towels had a funny smell to them like they were left in the washing machine overnight before they were dried. The parking was limited so if you left the property you may not have a spot to come back to. There are many restaurants in the area but again parking is very limited. It was a fight to find a place to park so on our last night we decided to just go to Publix to grab something to eat, at least they had a place to park.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beach resort and overall, it was a good experience. The facilities and services were pretty good. However, I did want to share some feedback regarding the room we were assigned. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a beach view room, which was a bit disappointing as we had expected one. When making the reservation, we didn’t see an option to specifically book a beach view room, and it wasn’t clear whether this was guaranteed or subject to availability. Had this been clarified during the booking process, we would have made a more informed decision. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the booking experience for future guests. Perhaps adding clear options for room types or providing additional details during the reservation process would help avoid confusion.

First let me say that this was my 58th Birthday presents for myself. Big mistake. Negatives: 1) Condensation pump on the air conditioner (AC) came on every 4-5 minutes and was extremely loud. After calling and getting their voice mail, I had to turn off the AC and be hot through the night. 2) Once the AC was off, I had to turn off the mini-fridge as the noise on it was also intermittant..3) Sound control in this place is terrible. Woke up to the people above me just walking around (this was about 4am. Woke up at 6:11am to the people behind me laughing. 4) Was so hot I tried to turn the AC back on. It came back on for about 30 seconds and then turned back off. I'm a Contractor so I know how to use a thermostat. 4) Lost my left over Hogfish I had in the mini-fridge (you don't think of these things at 1-2am). By the way I had never had Hogfish and it was great! 5) Complained to the office about all of this, she said she would put a message into the manager - and NEVER got a response from the manager. Positives: 1)Right on the beach. 2) Pretty much a brand new remodel. Unless they contact me to resolve this to my satisfaction, I will tell everyone to avoid this place like the plague.

The property itself was beautiful and great location. However we booked the room with the assumption it was on the beach and with a view of the ocean only to find our room had no windows whatsoever. Very discouraging when you are only there one night and that’s the only reason we booked this specific hotel. Beautiful rooms, very clean, but we aware of their working. Beachside doesn’t mean ocean view or even any view at that. Also it’s unclear where check in is and when ur checking in late at night you need a clear ideas of where to go.

Great location. Room rate was a bargain even for first week of local offseason. No hassle walk from room to a nice beach in 5-10 steps. Great island for a long weekend unwind. Room was newly renovated and clean. Excellent find.

Ask what side

The hotel and property is great mainly because it’s new. However you must be careful to ask what side your room is facing because “beachside” means to most people that you are getting a room that faces the beach. Not so with their meaning of beach side. “Beachside” for them is a room that faces the street where cars pass by. “Beachfront” means you are getting a room that faces the beach for them. So be careful and sure to ask what you are getting as I was fooled.
