very full.comfortable stay.rooms are well equipped.breakfast was good.not too well located but the bus took us down to the center which was very scenic and there was a lot to visit.we didn t have enough time to see the city..
This hotel is the worst I have stayed at in Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is poorly maintained and managed. The reception wanted to keep our passports as a guarantee of payment!! Not only this is an illegal procedure but also never seen in the many hotels I used in Sarajevo. Our twin bedded room booking was not honored, and we were assigned a room with a filthy carpet, and furniture suffering cigarettes burns. The toilet door could not be closed, the knob was totally off and the frame was rotten with a fist-sized hole in it. The tap was rusty and the toilet exhaust fan noisy. There is a foul smell throughout the property. We booked it because we had to be near the airport to catch an early flight, and it was a very bad choice!!
This hotel wasn't particularly bad but it wasn't great either. It's located very far from downtown Sarajevo and doesn't really have any sort of view. The rooms were reasonably sized and clean. Breakfast was pretty poor. The hotel layout is confusing as different elevators will take you into different sections. Overall, I think this hotel is decent for it's value but isn't really great.
This hotel is very large and often caters to very large groups from tour groups to sports groups and inbetween. The room was generally clean although not there were some issues. The water from the tap had sand in it. But over all ok 3 stars. Staff outside the breakfast area were helpful. But the absolutely most disgusting event was breakfast. The two times I went for breakfast there were no clean tables and the staff weren't interested in creating a clean spot for me to eat. The coffee was muddy and full of coffee grounds. Additionally the food itself left something to be desired. Save your money and eat at a small cafe close by.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to explore the city. It's close to the bus stop, to a nice river, and to the good restaurants. There is a big shopping center just across the entrance. The staff is helpful and the food is OK. As for accommodation, the quality of sleep depends on which block you're staying. Our first night was a disaster as a huge group of teenagers checked-in and made a lot of noise. We asked for a room change and they upgraded our rooms. It was good. The best part was the indoor swimming pool - open till late at night- and the spa. I recommend it for city explorers.
This hotel has newly renovated and modern decor and interior! The room is also very comfy! The restaurants served very nice breakfast! (it could be busy and crowded at times - as it caters to tour groups as well) The location itself is not in the old city area - as such, you may need to pick public trasport to the old town. I am not sure why it picks its name, but would prefer if it calls itself another 'more localized name'!
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days , and i am not comming back again. The food is without any taste. The same food every day. Wifi is very slow, sometimes i coludnt connect to wifi, only good thing is pool. But when you walk outside it stinks. I rather not comming back here.
Hotel Hollywood Sarajevo claims to be a 4-star hotel but the room my wife and I stayed in was small, had no room safe, no tissue paper and no electric kettle. It had a normal-size TV and a hair dryer. The shower's small knob was difficult to pull out (to activate the shower), especially when our hands were soapy. The queen-size bed had two small blankets instead of one large blanket.
This is a very big business hotel, taking care of large groups too. We booked two nights for a three-person room, which was large enough. Cleanliness was not what we expected, under the beds wre some remains of previous visits. Not replenishing the toilet paper is a major fault, but is was swiftly taken care of after we informed the front desk. Breakfast is a large buffet style affair, very much OK. Personell are very kind. Good location, close to the tramway that brings you to the centre.
