Sappada is a charming mountain village located at about 1,200 meters above sea level, nestled between the Sesto Dolomites and the Carnic Dolomites, in the province of Udine and crossed by the Piave River. It is famous for its natural beauty, Ladin culture and well-preserved Alpine traditions. In winter it is an ideal destination for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (it is part of the Dolomiti Nordic Ski area) and snowshoe excursions, while in summer it offers trekking, mountain biking, climbing and beautiful walks in the woods.
The apartment enjoys a charming location as well as being central to the main tourist attractions of the town and therefore allows easy access, in winter, both to the ski slopes of Sappada 2000 and to the family attractions of Nevelandia, making it a strategic choice for those who want to spend a holiday full of fun and relaxation.

There is no direct bus connection between Udine and Sappada. It is possible to reach Sappada using a combination of train and bus but it takes a long time:
• Take a train from Udine and/or other cities to Carnia station.
• From Carnia, continue by bus Autolinee TPL FVG towards Tolmezzo.
• From Tolmezzo, take another Autolinee TPL FVG bus to Sappada.

-Trieste airport (Ronchi dei Legionari) is 130 km from Sappada. We recommend renting a car directly at the airport.

-By car:
• From Northern Italy (Udine, Trieste, Venice):
Take the A23 and exit at Carnia-Tolmezzo, then continue on the SS52 towards Sappada.

• From Central Italy (Bologna, Florence, Rome):
Take the A1 to Bologna, then the A13 to Padua, then the A4 to Udine and finally the A23 with Carnia-Tolmezzo exit, then continuing on the SS52 to Sappada.
