Awesome place to stay in São Paulo

My go-to place whenever I'm in São Paulo. Great room, great location. 10min walk to shopping malls, eatery and shops steps away from the hotel. If you need a quiet peaceful rest with amenities nearby, this is it!

Stayed for 1 night in the Standard Double Room, a really nice well sized room on the 9th floor so we also had a view out both the windows which we liked as well. Bed was very comfy, the room had a sofa and a large desk area with a TV on a movable stand which meant it could be watched from the bed or the sofa area. There was also a small balcony to enjoy the views from, a safety deposit box, air conditioning and a mini bar with stuff in to be purchased. Decent shower in the bathroom which came with some free toiletries. The hotel has a gym and swimming pool on the top floor/roof, the pool isn’t that deep and is more to chill in/around than to swim properly. We had breakfast included which was a buffet with a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts along with different breads/rolls, pancakes, cakes and also scrambled egg, sausage, bacon and tea/coffee plus juices. Location wise, literally a 2 minute’s walk from Paraiso metro station which means you can get around very easily and quickly, just 4 stops to Sao Paulo's city downtown area (centro). Both airports are a well-priced Uber ride away, Congonhas-São Paulo Airport (CGH) is a 15-20 minute’s drive and São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) is 35-45 minute’s drive. Overall, we highly recommend Mercure Sao Paulo Paraiso to everyone who is visiting Sao Paulo and would happily stay again if we were to return to the city!

Definitely worth the stay!

I definitely recommend this hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive. Check in and check out were easy. The hotels cafe de manha was good with many options for a light breakfast.

Good hotel with convenient location

Only stayed one night but give hotel a 4/5. Not many places to eat around the area but is close to a metro station which was convenient. Staff was helpful and willing to assist. Would stay here again due to its proximity to public transportation. Tip: Would avoid hotel restaurant.

Great hotel, not for children due to busy road

A great hotel in the middle of everywhere. Close to the subway, easy to get where you want. Not really suited for children because the neighbourhood. The hotel is really close to the busiest road in town.

Great hotel, Horrible Customer Service

When I bought this hotel in hotels.com, I had free breakfast included in my daily rate. When I went down to have breakfast, the restaurant wanted to charge me. I had to be arguing with the hotel staff for them to honor it, checking out was a hassle, and even arrived late to my meeting that morning. The hotel was beautiful and in a great neighborhood, as I have become accustomed to from Mercure, but the customer service was quite bad. One of the worst I have ever had.
