We have stayed here a few times and we really like this location. You can walk to many restaurants and bars, shopping and Ave, Paulista is walkable as well. It felt very safe in the surrounding walkable areas as well. The rooms are sizable, decent Wi-Fi, I really like the warm pool and clean and newer exercise room. I would say only downfall is you have to pay for breakfast if you desire to eat there.
We stayed in this hotel twice (at the start and end of a trip around Sao Paulo and Rio states). The hotel was well situated for what we wanted and the room was clean and spacious. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't included and wasn't the cheapest that we had on our stay, but the fruit, juice and coffee selection was excellent and set us up for the day. There seemed to be a lot of people doing food testing (putting lots of food into plastic bags and taking it away) at breakfast whenever we ate there which was distracting and seemed wasteful of the food.
This hotel stays near Paulista Avenue and subway stations. The internet is fast. The breakfast has a very good quality, many options of fruits, coffee, eggs, as well as a good Cheese bread (Pão de queijo). On the mezzanine there are couple of tables to have meetings or even to work alone. I recommend this hotel. I stay there every time I go to Sao Paulo.
We stayed two nights in this hotel. It is very well located in Jardins close to good restaurants and shopping possibilities. The best part of this hotel is the very friendly and service minded personnel. They were always there to help you and to secure that everything was fine during our stay. Congratulaions and thank you very much for this excellent service.
Location is good. JARDINS neighborhod. Staff is nice as Brazilians are. Sweet and smiling. And they mean it.We should learn that in the USA.. First of all the elevators didn t work and they was sendind the guests across a fake wall to get the maid elevator. It happens, ok Then the card key was not working then back to the lobby considering the first point... it happens everywhere ok. But one more one you know, it starts to reflect the general situation The building seems nice, modern, social areas good. Trouble is the room. The bathroom is sad and basic. Wasted The floor suffered some water disaster. No iron table... a dirty towel... To be objective the bed is good and the shower powerful and fast to heat Very noisy. You hear everyone in the corridor. It wakes you up each time someone is walking and talking in the hall. No free breakfast Definitely not a Hampton inn... You pay the price of an Hampton Inn and you get an old Motel6. To be honest I went in a lot of Motel6 better than this Mercure..
perfect place to stay for a business trip. I have been at this place a lot of times already and I am everytime surprised about the outstanding service. Breakfast is also very good. A lot of variety to choose from.
Arrived early no early check in but they held my bags, upon getting my room the hallway rug needs replaced or cleaned. But the room had 3 single beds decent sized room, decent location convenient to night clubs we attended.
The hotel is well located, the rooms and restrooms are ok but could use a renovation. The hotel is a Mercure in São Paulo and has no heating nor offers portable room heaters. Waking up in Spring at 15C is really not a dream for someone not from cold weather. Breakfast is ok. I have tried to check out on Friday but they told me it would be better to do expedite checkout. Probably they did not believe I had two waters.... Do not worry, you will receive your biil by email and the charges too. Today is Sunday and nothing happened since Friday. Try the Accor Central phone. Sorry, we are not open on weekends. Try the site....Sorry, the pull down menu brings no hotel for "Sao Paulo, Brasil". That is for a ACCOR Silver member. Indeed, "desolée!!" I am not sure what is happening with this hotel.
The hotel would need a refresh but well located, good service, functional,...so value for money. I stay there anytime I go to Sao Paulo. Breakfast is alright and wifi works well and the conference facilities are good
Below standard, I'm an Accor Club member and regularly stay in the Mecure and other Accor hotels around the world and this hotel ranks poorly. I strongly suggest you book another hotel! Stained carpet in the lobbies, no heating in the rooms, its currently 12-14C temperature so its cold within the rooms!! Staff tend to be unfriendly with a few exceptions. It would be good if a few could also have basic English. Having had great experiences in other cities in South America and Brazil its been a shock to arrive here given the positive reviews. Stained carpet pics attached.
