The door over looking garden could be fixed for room 224. And not to “Americanize” the hotel but the only American outlet that is usable is in the bathroom. Be nice to have one in the room itself.

Very good stay

Centrally located hotel, walking distance to tourist sites and restaurants in the historic center. Nice views and spacious rooms that need some updating, particularly the furniture. A/C worked well. The door to the balcony did not lock, which represents a safety issue if you are in lower floors. We asked to be moved to a higher floor because of this issue. They complied. Helpful and professional staff.

its suppose to be in the center of sao luis ( it is) but teh old city looks very bad the hotel is old not in good condition regular breakfast wifi a litel weak the pool was in bad shape elevators make a lot of noise no AC in the public areas

This must have been a beautiful hotel at some point. However would need a lot of maintenance now. We had to change rooms three times unas they tried to repair it without success and it remained anyway very noisy. Prettty sad as staff tries to remain friendly.

Good hotel near to historic center

Everything was okay. But never use the laundry service or at least ask for the exact prices before you leave your T-Shirts for washing. We paid for five shirts and four shorts more than for accommodation.

Unbeatable Location!

Hotel could use a bit of updating to bring it back to its former glory and potential - but you cannot beat the incredible location, right in the middle of the UNESCO-listed historical center!!!

Great people making up for a well worn hotel

The hotel was well worn and complicated. The room was a bit worn and the floor made my feet black. The bed was a creaky single... There were three singles in my room. The staff were great. Ask them for things and they help really well. The breakfast man was great, like a vulture he swoops and takes plates like I have never seen before.

Old but very well maintained

Great choice if you want to experience the beautiful centro at Sao Luiz. While the hotel shows its age, I was impressed with how comfortablemand well-maintained it was.

A good choice if you are interested in history

A good, safe anf functional hotel in the city historic center close to the goverment buildings. It is located far from the new city and the ouristic beaches where you can go by taxi. I liked it because i was more interested in history and culture than in beaches and partying.

gostei por ser o lugar que escolhi para descanso. Lugar espaçoso, silencioso. Restaurante: O ambiente e´ bom, mas a comida deixa a desejar; há muitas pessoas como eu com problemas gástrico que não pode comer o que e´ oferecido ai´. Quanto a limpeza, parece que e´ bem caprichado so´ no terceiro andar por ser a recepção. Ja´ me hospedei por duas vezes, e´ limpo e cheiroso, mas dessa vez estive no quarto andar, e o corredor cheirava a mofo, o que e´ prejudicial a saúde pincipalmente de quem e´ alérgico.

Ótimo Hotel

Ótimo hotel, muito bom atendimento mas o chuveiro não estava funcionando direito e a descarga também não parava, entretanto, liguei para a recepção e 2 horas depois enviaram um técnico que rapidamente consertou tudo. O café da manhã é muito bom, a área da piscina é ótima mas não tinha mais bebida pra vender às 18h de sexta-feira (feriado). A localização é muito boa pra turismo, bem inserido no Centro Histórico, mas não tinha nada para comer próximo.
