Casa do Cebro House with private pool and jacuzzi

Stone house with garden, restored in May 2012, of 140 m2 distributed over two floors. On the ground floor is the distributor that leads us to a spacious and open space, where is: the living room with fireplace, living room with TV, dining room and kitchen. In the same distributor we find a toilet and ironing room with washing machine and dryer.
On the upper floor are the two rooms with bathroom (shower). From this floor you access the terrace and the large garden.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony. There's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. The bathroom offers hair dryers and bathrobes. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a fireplace.

The best short-term rental we have ever stayed in

Maria was an amazing host. When we arrived we were greeted with bread, cake, eggs, ham, cheese and a variety of basic essentials. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. Able to walk 6 km to Santiago or it was a short drive. Hope to return in the near future

A truly amazing week in a superb property in a gorgeous part of Spain. Casa de Cebro is the most comfortable, luxurious, tastefully designed house I have ever stayed in. We loved waking up in the fresh air and peace of the beautiful countryside yet only a 10 min easy drive into Santiago de Compostela and plenty to see and do in the coastal towns of Galicia. Maria Jose and her family are so welcoming and helpful. She provided us with any local information we needed and was immensely kind with delicious welcoming food and access to her garden for fresh veg and fruit. A truly memorable experience. All in my family loved it. Really want to do a return trip!

Luxurious Stay in the Beautiful Hills of Santiago de Compostela

Our stay at Maria’s casa was over-the-top, so much so, we will return to Spain just to stay at this amazing property. Maria is incredibly warm and friendly. Everything a traveler needs is provided. From homemade pastry to local wine and cheese to robes for the hot tub, we felt beyond pampered. Maria is so knowledgeable of the area and shares her expertise willingly. Stay here!!! You will not be disappointed. Best host and casa we have ever stayed at on vacation anywhere!

Perfect countryside getaway

Beautifully converted barn. Pool area is stunning and the house has everything you need, and offered total peace and privacy. Maria was an amazing host - super welcoming and responsive, and full of helpful information. Neighbourhood dogs could be a little noisey at night and aircon would be helpful in the bedrooms, but I would highly, highly recommend regardless.

We would live here! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week here in May 2018. Think you might still be able to still see the marks as he had to drag me out! The property is amazing, finished to very high standards. Stunningly beautiful views. We’ve rented over twenty-five VRBO’s and this is the top of our list. Not only do you have three different outdoor spaces at which to enjoy a meal but also a large table inside. The house is finished to very high standards. The property owner has thought of everything! Really! Best quality bathrobes and towels, lovely bed linens, built in high end coffee machine......so many other perks, too many to list! However I will mention the fabulous pool! With a fountain! My husband can’t sit in the sun but was able to keep me company whilst I swam as the property owners had shade furniture available. At all three outdoor areas. These areas are very private. We stayed in Santiago de Compostela in 2016 right by the Cathedral, enjoyed it. However we loved our time this property even more! And only a ten minute drive to a parking lot near the Cathedral! The owner is a very gracious and welcoming hostess. Left us the best soup/stew in the fridge for when we arrived. Dropped off some amazing empanadas one evening. Best I’ve ever had! And we lived in South America for a few years! Bottom line, if this place is available, RENT IT! Did I mention that all the water is heated by solar power? Pool included. And that there are a few acres to go for a hike in? And some really adorable dogs! But their not allowed to bother the guests so they don’t! Incredibly cute though! They do also have a beautiful chalet with a private pool too! Perfect for newlyweds! Again, we’d live here!
