CAN PONÇ PARRA is a small family house, built approximately in 1920 in the historic center of Santanyí, in Mallorca. It is a quiet island in the Mediterranean Sea, with a mild climate in winter and hot in summer. You can choose between a large number of white sand beaches, mountains or countryside, throughout the year. In addition, Mallorca offers an extensive cultural offer, an exclusive gastronomy, sun, tranquility or festive atmosphere, which will make your visit unforgettable. Santanyí is a quiet town, with all the charm of the Mediterranean environment, and with many nearby beaches (3 km.). It also offers beautiful walks through the countryside and lovely sunsets. It is a town with unique colors and light, thanks to which numerous artists have fixed their residence there. It also has a large commercial offer, with several restaurants, shops of all kinds -fashion, gift, crafts, etc.- and a prestigious traditional market every Wednesday and Saturday. The apartment consists of 75 m2, and has been renovated in 2015. It is cozy and has a lot of charm. The owners have personally taken care of all the renovation and decoration looking to combine materials and furniture with the roots of our ancestors, recycling and the technologies of our time in harmony, respecting the environment. His interest is to offer a relaxed, cozy, comfortable and quiet environment typical of our island. They are a native couple, quiet and committed to the environment and social justice, without prejudice or discrimination of any kind. They are environmentalists, tolerant, gay-friendly and respectful with all the sensibilities and life choices. In any case the visitors have total independence and privacy.
The apartment is located in the historic center, in a small street 50 meters from the Plaza Mayor where you can enjoy the charm of the town, with a quiet and family stay. Time passes calmly and the atmosphere is relaxed in contact with people and living Mediterranean style. Shopping: bakeries, supermarkets, shops, gifts, pharmacy, restaurants, etc. everything you need, you have it in the neighboring streets and you can move quietly walking through the town.
The house has an entrance, a double room with a bed of 1.60 x 2.00 and a junior room with a bed of 1.50 x 1.90. The living room has satellite TV, there is a dressing room, equipped kitchen, laundry room, 1 bathroom with hairdryer, terrace, free wi-fi, in addition to towels and bedding. It is not adapted nor is it suitable for small children or for people with reduced mobility. Pets are allowed, but it is a subject that has to be valued. We thank smokers who use the terrace.
The apartment is prepared for winter. It has all the amenities and heating to spend a quiet winter days. Santanyí and Mallorca, in winter also have a special charm and ideal for people who want to leave the most tourist seasons.
For transport on the island, a rental car is advised, in order to be able to move independently and comfortably. Now, if you just want to visit Santanyí and the surrounding area, you can use bicycles and enjoy the walks and beaches.
You can also enjoy horseback riding, alternative excursions by boat along our coast, the tranquility and calm of an authentic Mediterranean village.
