Son Garrot by dracmallorca

This lovely stone clad cottage was built in traditional Majorcan style. Set in 5.000 sqm of land, off the road Santanyí to Alquería Blanca and without direct neighbours, it offers both privacy and good connection with Santanyí and the nearby villages and beaches.

The main entrance is on the veranda and opens to the comfy living-dining room with American style kitchen, fully fitted with dishwasher, hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The two double bedrooms and the bathroom with shower are on the house’s rear side. The bedrooms dispose of two single beds each and the living area is furnished and equipped with a sofa and two chairs, satellite TV, stereo, DVD player and Wifi. All bedroom windows have mosquito nets so you can sleep undisturbed even with the windows open.

The veranda stretches across the total house width. The BBQ is conveniently located right on the terrace, furnished with a dining table and 6 chairs to enjoy your meals alfresco. Right next to the veranda is the swimming pool with large sun terraces, sun loungers and poolside shower.



Son Garrot offers nice views the rural surroundings. The nearby town of Santanyí hosts a well-attended weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. But Santanyí also has a lot to offer, numerous boutiques, restaurants, bars with live music, exhibitions and much more. Also worth a visit is the seaside village of Cala Figuera with its picturesque harbor or the convent of Santuari de Sant Salvador at Felanitx, perched on a 509 m high mountain with a fantastic panoramic view over the island. The Parc Natural Mondragó is very close and also the two beaches Cala Mondragó and S'Amarador.

Beautiful peaceful place

It was warm thanks to the heating and well cleaned. It has all the necessities like children’s table wear etc. it is a bit outside of town, you can hear the road a little from the main bed room when the window is open, the other one is totally calm. Thanks a lot, we loved it and will come back

Lovely location, feels remote yet nice and close to the town. Beautiful house , great communication with owner. Pulling out onto the road was scary! Little or no view from the left. Although there is a mirror on the opposite side of the road still not confident to pull out. There is a tree that appears to be on waste ground , if this could be cut back the visibility would be hugely improved. Some plastic glasses for use around the pool.

Erholsame Frühlings-Finca-Ferien auf dem Land

Die warmen Radiatoren in den Zimmern hatten wir sehr geschätzt, die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet auch Geschirrspülmaschine war eine gute Hilfe. Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet mit Decken und Kissen sowie genügend Hand- und Badetüchern. Die Finca war gemütlich und die ländliche Umgebung ohne Strassenlärm war sehr erholsam. Der Aussengrill/Rost sollte erneuert werden. Das Licht im Badezimmer könnte heller sein Die Zufahrt zur Finca hat viele Schlaglöcher, nicht optimal für das Auto. Der Spiegel vor allem bei Ausfahrt auf die Hauptstrasse sollte grösser sein, man sieht fast nichts, es ist eine riskante Ausfahrt, da von links in einer Kurve die Autos mit 90 km/h heranbrausen und man sie sie spät sieht.

Schöne Finca Nähe Santanyi

Die Lage und das Haus sind sehr gut. Wir waren zu zweit dort aber auch für 4 wäre es ausreichend. Zum Ort sehr nah und auch für diverse Ausflüge sehr geeignet. Leider ist der Wasserdruck in der Dusche sehr schwach, das warme Wasser plätscherte nur leicht somit war das Duschen etwas unangenehm. Die Ausfahrt zur Straße ist ziemlich gefährlich. Und leider war der Pool am Anfang irgendwie dreckig weil die Pumpe nicht funktioniert hat, aber das wurde direkt behoben als wir es gemeldet haben.

In Ruhe wohlfühlen

Die Finca liegt für uns optimal: ca 1 km bis Santanyi und 7-8 km zu den Stränden S´Amarador/Mondrago - beides ist z.B. mit dem Fahrrad vor und nach dem Frühstück gut zu bewältigen. Die nahe Straße Ma-19 ist nachts aufgrund der guten Fenster (mit Insektenschutz) nicht störend und die einzigen Nachbarn, die wir überhaupt bemerkt haben waren die Schäfchen. Die Unterkunft ist super geschnitten mit einer ausgezeichneten Raumaufteilung und Raumgrößen, so dass sich 4 Personen wohl und nicht beengt fühlen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Küchengeräte in gutem Zustand und die Klimageräte mit neuere Steuerung eignen sich anscheinend auch zum Heizen, obwohl wir diese nicht ausprobiert haben. Der offen gestaltete Küchen-, Ess- und Wohnbereich lädt zum gemeinsamen Kochen und Verweilen ein. Der Fernsehempfang von vielen deutschen TV-Sendern ist ebenso gut wie das schnelle und stabile Internet. Toll, dass der Pool nachts beleuchtet ist - was trotz Stromverbrauch ein wundervoll entspannender Anblick ist. Bei der Anreise ist Mineralwasser, Wein und kleine Leckereien bereitgestellt und im Schrank finden sich Öl, Essig und etliche Gewürze und Tees, so dass man auch spät abends anreisen kann, wenn die Geschäfte bereits geschlossen haben. Romy und Dagmar informieren rechtzeitig über Unvorhergesehenes (wie Poolreinigung oder Gärtnerbesuche) und kümmern sich unmittelbar um die Behebung kleiner Schwierigkeiten, was wir bisher noch nirgendwo in dieser Form vorgefunden haben. In der Dusche muss man lange Wasser (ungenutzt weg-)laufen lassen, bis warmes Wasser kommt. Das ist für uns Touristen bei der Wasserknappheit auf Mallorca nicht gut nachvollziehbar, aber kalt duschen möchte ich auch nicht. Aus dem Duschkopf kommt relativ wenig Wasser. Wenn er nur zugesetzt ist, dann könnte er erneuert werden. Wenn der Wasserdruck reduziert wurde um Wasser zu sparen, dann ist alles ok. Der Insektenschutz zumindest am Schlafzimmerfenster links ist leicht defekt - es ab bei uns allerdings auch keine störenden Mücken. Es ist vieles vorhanden, aber wir haben ein bisschen Waschmittel deponiert, damit nicht jeder Mieter neues Waschmittel (im Großpack) kaufen muss. Wäre toll, wenn eine kleine Menge (für 1-2 Waschgänge) vorrätig wäre, weil man ansonsten (wie bei den vorhandenen Gewürzen) jedes Mal viel kaufen muss, obwohl man nur weng braucht (Verschwendung). Ein Brotmesser würde das vorhandene und sehr umfängliche Equipment vervollständigen

Very nice Finca

Wir hatten alles in allem eine schöne Zeit in der Finca. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und war für uns auch von der Größe absolut ausreichend. An der Finca fehlt allerdings ein Sonnenschutz. Der Strohschirm ist nicht ausreichend.

Wunderschöne landestypische Finca

Wir haben den Urlaub auf der super ausgestatteten Finca sehr genossen. Das Highlight war natürlich der Pool. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Service war super und wir kommen gern wieder. Der Kleiderschrank im rechten Schlafzimmer riecht muffig. Auch das wäschesäckchen hilft leider nicht. Aber uns hat es nicht gestört da genug Stauraum vorhanden war. Die fliegengitter vor den Fenstern helfen sehr wegen der Mücken. Leider gehen sie schon kaputt. Ansonsten alles bestens

soweit ok, nur leider nicht so wie wir es uns an Hand der Bilder vorgestellt haben.

Die Finca liegt sehr ruhig und ist soweit in Ordnung, aber die Bilder sind nicht alle aktuell. Der Geschirrspüler ist in die Jahre gekommen, Körbe sind verrostet, Besen, Wischmop, und Wischeimer stehen offen in der Küche, der passende Schrank wäre vorhanden, aber durch die Regalböden und der Zwischenwand kann man hier die Reinigungsgeräte nicht abstellen. Das allerschlimmste aber ist leider die Ausfahrt vom Grundstück zur M-19 links Richtung Santanyi und rechts nach Cala D‘OR, den Laufenden Verkehr aus Richtung Santanyi kann man erst spät sehen trotz Spiegel auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite. Zweimal wär es beinahe zu einen schweren Unfall gekommen. Daraufhin haben wir es so gemacht, dass meine Frau von der Ausfahrt gut 50 Meter nach links gegangen ist um dann von der anderen Straßenseite den kommenden Verkehr hinter der Kurve rechtzeitig zu sehen um dann ein Zeichen zu bekommen, dass ich jetzt nach rechts abbiegen kann und bei der Gärtnerei auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite zu Wenden um in Richtung Santanyi zu fahren.

Superbe maison au calme

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette belle maison typique, très propre, très bien équipée à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Nous avons apprécié ce préau immense avec vu sur la piscine et les palmiers. Nous n'avons pas pu à cette saison profiter de la piscine car les températures nocturnes sont trop fraiches et l'eau reste froide même pour des Bretons !

Abseits des Trubels

Das Haus ist super gelegen - außerhalb, sehr ruhig, keine direkten Nachbarn, außer Schafe :) der Außenbereich mit Pool ist sensationell! Innen ist es eher älter von der Einrichtung und einiges könnte mal erneuert werden, aber der Außenbereich reißt alles raus! Wir würden wieder kommen :)

Von Anfang bis Ende alles SUPER!

Hatte für 2 Wochen die Finca "Son Garrot" gebucht. Die Kommunikation mit Dagmar und Romy von der Agentur im Vorfeld und auch während des Aufenthaltes sehr freundlich und komplikationslos, bei einem kleinen Problem wurde sofort geholfen. Die Finca selbst so, wie auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung dargestellt. Die Zeit in Santanyi war wunderschön, danke für einen herrlichen Urlaub!!!

Best of the best

Son Garrot hat uns komplett "geflashed"! Tolle Finca, ideal geschnitten. Die Räume hatten für uns jeweils die ideale Größe, die Fliegengitter funktional, die Nähe zu Santanyi - ideal (Enzaimadas und andere Notwendigkeiten besorgen), mit dem Fahrrad zur S´Amarador - gut machbar. Die Nachbarn (Schafe) waren ideal zum Abschalten und um den Kopf frei zu bekommen. Die Finca hatte alles, was wir uns zum Kochen (scharfe Messer, Töpfe, Pfannen, Aufauffornem) und zum Wohlfühlen wünschten (schnelles Internet und jede Menge deutsche Fernsehprogramme). Wir würden gern wiederkommen um das einmalige Erlebnis zu wiederholen.

Die Finca liegt wunderschön vor den Toren von Santanyí. Trotz der Nähe der Straße findet man auf dem großen Grundstück seine Ruhe. Die defekte Kaffeemaschine wurde am selben Tag noch ausgetauscht. Super Service ! Ein wenig mehr Besteck wäre super.

Für uns die optimale Unterkunft! Gut ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen, dennoch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Zudem sehr freundliche und schnelle Betreuung vor Ort. Vielen Dank. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Die Nächte waren im Juli doch sehr warm. Vielleicht kann eine Klimaanlage die sonst gute Ausstattung perfektionieren.

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in toller Lager

Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut eingerichtet, sowohl die Küche als auch die beiden Schlafzimmer. Ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck und sonstige Utensilien sowie genügend Stauraum für Kleidung . Sehr gute Betten. Ein wunderschöner Garten mit Palmen und Olivenbäumen, eine ruhige, nur von Wiesen umgebene Lage, aber dennoch nur eine kurze Fahrstrecke nach Santanyi, einem hübschen Städtchen. Auch wenn das Wasser im Pool noch recht kalt war, es hatte eine tolle blaue Farbe. Die beiden Eigentümerinnen waren jederzeit erreichbar und antworteten stets sehr schnell auf Anfragen. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen und wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Perfekte Finca zum Erholen

Wir sind sehr, sehr, sehr zufrieden gewesen. Der Pool und die Finca waren perfekt für uns. Alles gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, uns fehlte es an nichts. Die Lage ist für uns perfekt gewesen, kurze Autominuten nach Santanyi und Cala Llombard sowie nach Cala D Or. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ebenfalls sehr schnell und nah zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder, haben auch schon gebucht. :-)
