Luxurious home in beautiful, quiet, gated community. Neighborhood full of lovely trails and boardwalks. Beautiful uncrowded beaches near state park. Th house had everything you could want. The beds were very comfortable with premium mattresses and quality cotton bedding.Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay. The management company was easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions. Neighborhood security staff were also kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time!

Great house! Layout was awesome for a family and we could have easily included some grandparents and still had space. The dishwasher is a pain, the top shelf rolls out and the bottom shelf is also difficult to roll forward. Bring extra dishwasher tabs if you plan to cook. Also bring some extra dish towels, beach towels, beach chairs and your own umbrella. Some properties offer these items this one did not. You cannot use the garage or a golf cart with this property if that matters to you. Beds are comfy and linens were nice. Bring all your toiletries - just a small bottle of shampoo and bar soap provided here. Overall we had a great experience and getting to the beach was easy enough with driving to the pool to park and take a wagon of gear down. Would stay here again!

Short Stay, Fabulous Time

We were here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! House is very nice, clean and well-kept. I read other reviews about maybe some disappointment in the community pool, but we thought it was great! It is definitely a long walk to the beach via board walk, but so worth it once you get there. Next time, we will take a beach wagon to help haul the gear. We will certainly stay here again!

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with good beach access. The beach is a fair distance from the house, but this was mitigated by the provided bikes which were certainly appreciated and much used! One note: Watersound West is a stand alone development which isn’t really obvious in the listing. You do not get access to the other Watersound developments/amenities (or at least we didn’t, and we did bike over to the main part of Watersound and were turned away by security). A second small demerit relating purely to management- the oven was broken and this was not communicated to us in advance (and was a known issue when we called it in). Normally not a big deal, but we arrived at 8 pm with a casserole for dinner. Not ideal!

remote beach

The house was great, a perfect cottage in a quiet neighborhood. The only drawback was the inaccuracy of the beach service rental, there is no beach service nearby because that particular beach is run by the state. Was a blessing though because it’s completely worth dragging chairs and umbrella to this beach - so quiet and remote, pretty amazing. oh and i had to go buy kitchen towels as they only provided 2! otherwise it was great!

Great Home and Neighborhood But…

Home was great- needs a few things - more kitchen towels as we like to cook a few nights, dustpan and broom, electrical outlets in the master bathroom on the main level. We have stayed in their neighborhood before and love it. Very disappointed that the community voted to not use the beach service for setup of the umbrellas and chairs. It is a trek to the beach with all gear needed….Because of this we will no longer stay in this neighborhood. Communication with the property managers was average as they do not know many details of what is offered in this neighborhood and should to help out of town guests with planning.

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property with lots of space for a full family of all ages. My small children loved the bunk bed area. We also enjoyed the spacious bedrooms for each of the members of our family. It’s a short 10 min walk to the pool or beach. Although the photo shown on this listing is not accurate. The pool does not look like that for the community where this house is located. Watersound is a beautiful community! Highly recommend.

Awesome beach home

This house was perfect for our family vacation! Beautiful, spacious, well appointed, comfortable in a very nice development. The view walking to the beach over the huge preserved dunes is breathtaking!

Nice gated community

Nice home in a gated community... 3 full bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms with one TV area with bunkers. Close to different beach areas and shopping areas... pool area and boardwalk to private beach
