One Seagrove Place will be undergoing a significant property improvement project. Extensive preparatory work is expected to begin shortly after Labor Day 2026, ahead of the main phase of the project currently anticipated to begin around November 1.



We want to make sure you are aware of the following potential impacts when planning your stay:



CONSTRUCTION NOISE

Guests should expect elevated noise levels during normal construction hours, with some phases of the project expected to be louder than others.



POOL CLOSURE

The property's 40-year-old pool will be completely renovated and will be unavailable during this phase of construction. The pool is expected to reopen in early spring 2027.



BEACH ACCESS

The direct beach walkway may shift at times due to construction activity. When necessary, guests will be directed to the public beach access walkway immediately next to the building.



BICYCLE RENTALS & STORAGE

On-site bicycle rentals and bike storage will be unavailable during the construction period. If you plan to bring your own bicycle, it must be stored on your vehicle during your stay. Bicycles are not permitted inside the building.



PARKING

Parking restrictions are expected during portions of the project. Additional information will be provided as specific restrictions and timelines are confirmed.

One day before we arrived for our stay at One Seagrove Place I received a call from them saying that our reserved condo had a recent leak in it and they were moving us to another condo. Our original reservation was for a condo on the 1st floor which would have allowed us easy access to and from the beach. Our thoughts were if we needed something from the room it would be a quick and easy retrieval. Didn't end being as easy as planned because they moved us to the 21st floor. The real disappoint came when we actually walked into the condo on the 21st floor. This condo is in need of a complete overhaul. The condo we were supposed to get on the first floor looked to have newer furnishings and updated decor with walk in showers and newer cabinetry. Everything about the 21st floor condo was old, the furniture, the rickety chairs around the dining table, the kitchen cabinets/dishwasher and even the dishes. After spending one night there the mattresses felt like springs were coming through and rolled to the middle, electrical outlets were stripped, lighting was minimal and fans were noisy. The one thing that made our stay more pleasant was Tawana. She did everything she could to accommodate our party. She checked on us regularly and asked if we needed anything. She also made sure our stay was discounted due to the changes. She made all the difference in the situation. If it had not be for her efforts and friendliness we would have made more effort to find a different place.

A mixed bag

The property is nice but the ad was misleading and we did have issues with things not working. We booked this unit for 2 married couples splitting the rent. The ad clearly and specifically stated that both bedrooms had king beds and the pictures showed both rooms with TVs. When we got there, however, one room had a king and a large TV while the other had a queen and no TV at all. This created somewhat of an awkward situation as we were splitting the rent 50/50. We were also told when we arrived that the dryer didn't work (and we purposely brought less than a week's worth of clothes because we knew the unit was supposed to have a washer and dryer. (About Wed we tried the dryer and it was VERY noisy but did seem to dry our clothes). Also, the icemaker in the refrigerator didn't work so we had to buy ice. On Thursday they did bring a new TV for the second bedroom, but that was close to the end of the week. Overall, the unit was very nice and we really enjoyed our time. However, we did book this unit over others because it was listed with two king beds, so it was a letdown when we got there and found this was not the case. People expect the ads to be pretty accurate and they expect things to work. Fix the listing, the dryer, and the icemaker and it's five stars.
