False advertisement

We had to cancel our stay because the VRBO listing stated in 3 different places that the property had a pool and a golf cart. When we received the confirmation and listing from Vacassa a month prior to our stay which was booked 7 months prior, their listing did not show a pool but had a pic of the golf cart. They said that the picture portrayed the fact that you may rent a golf cart. Hmmm. Does that mean the picture of the beds mean they don't have any beds but you may rent them? After numerous hours calling Vacassa and talking with them we were told several times that a supervisor would call us back but they NEVER returned my calls like they said they would. Finally they offered the golf cart. I shouldn't have had to fight for it like I did. There is absolutely no pool on the property nor in the neighborhood. I was told we would have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest public pool. We found all of this out a month before our vacation and struggled to find a replacement since everything was booked. VRBO was generous and upgraded us to another property at no charge and Vacassa refunded us but it almost ruined our vacation. Hopefully, they have corrected their listing but if they haven't...buyer/renter beware!

Dune side getaway

It’s our 3rd year in Blue mountain and on Dune side and we love it. This house had a great layout for multiple families. The downside was it wasn’t super clean ( definitely needs a deep clean in most areas) when we arrived and the house needs some minor repairs. The bannister is almost off the wall in some areas, living room fan didn’t work, golf cart didn’t charge at some point. That being said, we would stay again despite these small things. Thank you for a great week!

Great house in a great area but not well maintained!

We had multiple issues the day we arrived and we called and asked for things to be addressed. Nobody ever got back to us or came to address the items in the house that needed repaired. Lots of broken closet doors some completely off the hinges when we arrived. Also, filthy walls and found a couple of roaches. We had to go out and get cleaning supplies and clean the hand rails in the stairways. Too many other things to list. For the price it was very disappointing.

Santa Rosa 2023 Dune Side

We loved the extra space for our group. We had 8 people and still had the bunk room that wasn’t used at all. Everything was clean and the description and photos were exactly as was advertised. Great neighborhood and a 2 minute drive on the golf cart to the beach. The only few minor areas were the doors squeaked quite a bit, we noticed several light bulbs burned out and the gas grill on the back patio is not connected so it’s not usable if you plan to grill out.

Great family getaway

House was clean and spacious with enough room for our group of 8 to have plenty of room to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and we did lots of cooking. Kids enjoyed the plunge pool.

We are going back.

We spent Mother’s Day weekend at this home. It was all that we wanted and needed. I have recommended it to all of my friends. Blue Mtn beach was perfect for us. We could easily walk, ride bikes & golf cart around. Perfect location for nearby restaurants and stores.

Plenty of room

We had a fantastic spring break for my daughter and her friends. There were plenty of beds for everyone. The house is close enough to the beach to walk. We loved going to Blue Mountain bakery each morning for coffee. We also loved the bikes and golf cart that were included with the house. It’s a quiet neighborhood and we felt very safe. The kitchen was well stocked.
