30A Gulf View Condo | Beach Access + 3 Pools

Sip your morning coffee on a private balcony with Gulf views, then walk downstairs into the heart of Gulf Place, one of 30A's liveliest little town centers. From The Slippery Mermaid, the beach, the pools, and an evening of live music are all a short walk from your door. Inside, the top-floor corner position brings in natural light from two sides with no neighbors above, a combination guests mention almost as often as the location itself.

Your stay includes deeded Gulf Place beach access, and a public regional beach access with restrooms and a beach ramp sits directly across Scenic Highway 30A. Grab the wagon, beach chairs, and umbrella from the porch and you are toes-in-sand within minutes.

A COMFORTABLE 30A HOME BASE
The condo sleeps up to 4 with a private king bedroom, a full bathroom (tub and shower combination), and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. At 656 square feet, it is intentionally cozy. The single-level layout is easy to settle into and simple to keep tidy, which is exactly why couples, girlfriend getaways, and small families keep coming back to it. The corner position on the top floor brings in light from two sides and keeps the balcony views open, with elevator or stair access to your door and a step-free interior once inside.

RESORT AMENITIES INCLUDED
• Three shared community pools (two heated seasonally)
• Two shared hot tubs
• Pickleball and tennis courts
• Community trails, green spaces, and the amphitheater lawn with seasonal live music
• Free shared laundry on your floor, by the elevator

INSIDE THE CONDO
• Smart TV inside, Gulf views from the private balcony
• Kitchen equipped for breakfasts and casual meals: electric stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and kettle
• 100+ Mbps Wi-Fi and a laptop-friendly workspace
• Beach gear on the porch: wagon, beach chairs, and umbrella

RECENT GUEST FEEDBACK
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ July 2026 | Stayed a few nights
We loved everything about this place. The beach was so close, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Will definitely stay again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ June 2026 | Stayed with kids
First time staying in Santa Rosa and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! The beach was a very short walk away being right across the street, restaurants and shopping within walking distance and a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. Parker’s place was very clean and there was plenty of space for my husband and I and our small children. We had a great view from the large balcony as well. Would definitely stay here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ May 2026 | Stayed a few nights
The condo was perfect and exactly as shown online! Easy parking, easy access, and nice neighborhood. Inside was clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and the balcony was fantastic! Parker and Oz were very responsive to all your question and super friendly! We would definitely rent from them again! Thank you so much Parker and Oz!

A FEW PRACTICAL NOTES
Parking is free but unassigned within the complex, and the living area is snug when the sleeper sofa is open; that trade is exactly what keeps this spot walkable and affordable on 30A. The condo is smoke-free and not pet-friendly, and quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM. Cancellation terms follow the policy attached to your reservation, and we recommend travel insurance for every trip.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
The Slippery Mermaid is part of Peacock Paradise Vacations, a family-run collection of homes my husband, Oz, and I personally love and care for. We want each stay to feel easy, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, so you can spend less time managing logistics and more time wandering 30A on foot.
The condo is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

We loved everything about this stay! “The Slippery Mermaid” was perfect for our girls trip. Some of the light switches wouldn’t work, but other than that it was clean, perfect size, met all accommodations listed in the booking, and was in close proximity of restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The host kept great communication throughout the trip and we would love to visit again in the future!

First time to stay at the property! Perfect for us! Location was GREAT! Loved the balcony for morning coffee and reading. Good view of the area from the front or back of the unit. Walk right across the street to the private Gulf Place beach access. We used 30-A Shades for our beach set up and their service was great too! Seconds away from Shunk Gully, Perfect Pig, Shelby's, and Pecan Jacks! A little connivence store was very close too. We will be back!

Perfect Location

This condo is beautiful and located in the perfect place. We were able to walk to several restaurants and shops. We had the option of 3 pools and the beach was right across the street. The condo had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the balcony at night listening to the waves. So many restaurants to choose from. We will definitely be coming back!!

Great location

We really enjoyed this small condo and its location for a few days. However, for a a long term rental, it’s a bit small and layout is strange. There was a nice balcony but the furniture was oddly placed; balcony door wouldn’t even open until we moved the oversized chaise out of the way. There was also an awkward lounge to sit/lay on. We had some issues with the tv (instructions didn’t match reality), door locks, access codes, etc. Fortunately we had phone contact with owners although they still didn’t answer all questions. It’s fortunate that trash was being collected as we were leaving bc there were no directions as to where the dumpster was for trash disposal. I think beach and pool access codes must change each month because neither given to us worked as well as those listed on info on frig notice. Thankfully, there were some kind neighbors at Cabana pools who helped us out. This is not to say that we didn’t like this area. We will try to stay somewhere here again at Gulf Place because we did love the area, but this particular unit has some communication issues.
