It’s truly a paradise here. More than I ever expected the experience to be. Nice staff, excellent food and a very quiet atmosphere. Rooms were amazing and has hot running water for bathing or showering. Sea is very close and has beautiful beaches.

The resort is nice and secluded. It is within walking distance from the ferry and the the town if you chose. The property is well maintained and the lodges are spacious and comfortable. Some items could be upgraded but overall, the next time I go to Bantayan I will once more stay at Hoyohoy Villias.

A more secluded beautiful resort with very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our nightly stroll to the touristy MJ Square either along the beach or along the road. Highly recommend if you want a bit more solitude.

The property is well thought out and designed. Just that some glass panels have spaces for bugs to get in. The staff was marvelous and very accommodating. The air conditioning unit was plenty strong in our room and comfortable. The beach is too close to the Ferry landing and debris from it is frequent along the beach. It was secluded and you have very good privacy. Some re touching and remodeling will make it shine again, for this I am sure.

Air conditioner didnt cool the room. The room was full of mosquitoes, . The pool had not been cleaned. The grounds needed landscaping. There was trash down by the beach. The water was not accessible from the property, so really no private beach as advertised. They swept the road, but left trash everywhere else on the property.

The place was the worst place ive been to in 20 Years. It looked abandoned. No water for hours . A/C didn't cool the villa. No food or drink available even though charged for same. The pool was an algea color green. The grounds nor the beach were sweep. After we got our key the only staff lady left We left the next morning. The property looked abandoned in the morning. We arrived about 8 pm. Even then it looked scary. Worse in tbe light. It should not be on any travel service. A refund was refused even after all the complaints The one lady that took our key when we left said she understood our reasons for leaving

Neglected

In a word... Neglected. The facility as a whole is in much need of repair. Not just the thatched roofs of the villas, but the wood rot on the eves as well as much of concrete that has broken away from the rusting rebar. The staff was courteous and location was quiet. The entrance to the resort is not clearly marked so is easy to miss. Swimming pool is small, easy to mistake as a koi fish pond. Wi-Fi only accessible outside on grounds or lower level of the villa, not inside the villa. Villa appeared clean, though still managed to contract HFM Disease, had to cut our stay short because of needing medical attention on mainland. Resort refused to reimburse/refund for unused days. In the end, a not so romantic, romantic retreat. Will not be returning.

Flera av villorna var redan tagna ur bruk, och villan vi bodde i lĂ€ckte i takets mitt nĂ€r det regnade, med pĂ„följd att vi var tvungna att flytta in sĂ€ngen mot vĂ€ggen för att den inte skulle bli blöt. Vi var enda gĂ€sterna pĂ„ hela anlĂ€ggningen Ă€nda fram till vĂ„r sista kvĂ€ll dĂ€r. DĂ„ kom det ytterligare gĂ€ster i en villa. Vi gick för skojs skull in pĂ„ olika bokningssajter och kikade pĂ„ belĂ€ggningen, men det lĂ„g som fullbokat pĂ„ samtliga sajter trots att vi var helt ensamma dĂ€r. Den ”dygnet-runt-öppna receptionen fanns det ingen i efter kl. 21 pĂ„ kvĂ€llen, dĂ„ ocksĂ„ restaurangen (som vi inte tror var i bruk mer Ă€n till frukosten) slĂ€ckte ner. KĂ€nslan av att vara helt ensamma upplevdes otrygg nattetid. Under de fyra dygn vi hade villan till förfogande erbjöds vi stĂ€dning endast en gĂ„ng. DĂ„ vi en kvĂ€ll innan receptionen stĂ€ngde bad om mer toalettpapper fanns det inget sĂ„dant att uppbĂ„da, sĂ„ vi fick snĂ€llt vĂ€nta till nĂ€sta morgon. Poolen Ă€r liten men fin, men tyvĂ€rr ser den inte sĂ€rskilt ren ut vilket gjorde att vi avstod frĂ„n att anvĂ€nda den. Det Ă€r svĂ„rt att hitta till stĂ€llet eftersom det saknas en skylt med hotellnamnet ute vid vĂ€gen, nĂ€stan som att de faktiskt inte vill ha nĂ„gra gĂ€ster. Nattsömnen stördes av nĂ€rheten till fĂ€rjeterminalen. Personalen Ă€r korrekt men inte överdrivet trevlig. Ett plus för frukosten. Vi vill sĂ„ gĂ€rna tycka om detta stĂ€llet för det Ă€r faktiskt vĂ€ldigt snyggt, men i nulĂ€get avrĂ„der vi andra frĂ„n att boka det.

Cet hĂŽtel pourrait ĂȘtre idyllique si seulement l'entretien gĂ©nĂ©ral navait pas Ă©tĂ© oubliĂ© depuis des mois. Douche extĂ©rieure : peinture dĂ©labrĂ©e, flexible HS dalle sol Ă  stabiliser. Salle de bain : peinture plafond Ă  refaire, robinet lavabo Ă  fixer. Chambre : mobilier en mauvais Ă©tat, TV absente, le frigo a dĂ» ĂȘtre remplacĂ©. Par contre la climatisation Ă©tait silencieuse et efficace. La piscine Ă©tait HS depuis pas mal de temps... heureusement sur notre instance, comme par hasard, elle a pu ĂȘtre rĂ©parĂ©e le lendemain soir... son nettoyage pourrait ĂȘtre amĂ©liorĂ©. Quel dommage tous ces dĂ©tails, car les bungalows couleur locale inspiration grenier Ă  riz sont splendides , le jardin dĂ©corĂ© et arborĂ© avec goĂ»t, le personnel est trĂšs aimable et serviable, petit-dĂ©jeuner bon et bien prĂ©sentĂ©. Un petit bĂ©mol : la proximitĂ© du terminal maritime gĂ©nĂšre du bruit : le bruit de moteur des gros bateaux est fort quand on dort vers 5 heures du matin... Il n'y a pas grand chose Ă  faire pour rendre Ă  cet hĂŽtel son Ă©tat initial et profiter Ă  plein de tout son charme : merci Ă  la direction de faire un effort en ce sens. Les commentaires deviendraient alors Ă©logieux. Cest probablement le seul hĂŽtel de Bantayan qui a autant de charme local.

Nous avons quittĂ© le restaurant sans avoir mangĂ© ,4 chats sous la table ,le serveur s’est engagĂ© En disant qu’ils les enfermaient en vain .insectes dans la chambre (Iules ). Un accĂšs dans la boue ,le chemin inondĂ© ,aucune rĂ©action pour combler par quelques cailloux .Heureusement une seule nuit car c’est lamentable ,les personnels dĂ©vouĂ©s n’ ont pas pas les moyens de compenser le manque de prĂ©sence de la direction . Keine Sitzgelegenheit am Zimmer , beim FrĂŒhstĂŒck Fliegenatacke und jeden Tag hat etwas anderes gefehlt am 4. Tag kein Kaffee mehr ! Nach 4 Tagen immernoch kein SMB Pilsen , Strand nicht so toll nichts um zu Schwimmen , Oersonal macht nur das nötigste , Zimmer wurden jeden Tag geputzt und HandtĂŒcher gewechselt ! Keine aufhĂ€nge möglichkeit fĂŒr kleidung und Handtuch draussen vor dem Zimmer. FĂŒr Raucher keine legale möglichkeit zu rauchen ausser am Strand ! Was wirklich fehlt ist ein kleiner KĂŒhlschrank im Zimmer ! War ok , wĂŒrde es nicht mehr buchen !!!
