Defiantly the worst property Ive stayed at, I wish it had reviews before I booked as I’m sure they would of agreed with my account of my time there. We killed two cockroaches, had small insects in our belongings, I’d leave the house and find them in my hand bag! The property had a strange smell, stray cats which was heartbreaking as they’d be looking/ begging fofor food. The bathroom in our room had no door, plus the water system didn’t work, so it was either piping hot (enough to make a coffee) or freezing cold. We had to use a different bathroom to shower. I felt uncomfortable to ask for more toilet paper etc when I needed anything, Marco had a strange way of communicating that made me feel like an inconvenience. It wasn’t worth the price they charged, which is saying a lot as it was the cheapest thing we could find. The location is bad if you reach funchal and decide you’d like to change ur plans/ for example you want to go to a beach and need to go back to fetch your swim stuff, it’s just pointless as the Roy trip is too long. My room was opposite the “reception” and as the walls are so cheap and thin youd be woken up 7-8am every day with the conversations in the doorway / hallway. Ultimately- I recommend you avoid this property at all costs unless you are desperate
