Overall good experience here. Last minute booking for us. It was more than what we needed. We chose it due to being on the bottom floor. The view was okay. From the primary bedroom you see other Pajaro dunes units. From the living room there’s a view mostly of the dunes and ocean beyond. There was a bit of a communication glitch between using Orbitz and Vrbo- couldn’t see the info the owner sent me for check in. No biggie. Owner was plenty communicative. The resort needs more lights, especially at the edge where the parking is. Had to giggle at the disabled parking space as it was uneven and not well marked at all. Next, going to and from the car to the pathway is dark and on an angle. Every time we entered and exited the property it was dark, so this was very dangerous for me as a disabled person. Up and dark on the way in and down and dark on the way out. I don’t know if lights were out or what, but eek.
This is a great area and beach because it has fewer people and lots of wildlife. There is not much around the resort, but it’s perfectly situated between Monterey and Santa Cruz. I would definitely come back again.
