I visited the hotel during a business trip, and it was an excellent experience. The staff assigned me a room located in the new tower, and it was big, well equipped and nice. There were two atmospheres (social and the bedroom). Beautiful view and a balcony are the ice of the cake. The hotel has green zones that surround the restaurant, and the lobby and the pool are great. People from Staff were kind and prompt to solve my requirements. Significant advantage is to have two malls in the area, which allows you to buy the things you need (groceries, clothes, mobile cards and select the where to eat)
Great place to have a presentation or give conferences. Good rooms to have seminars with clients or a group of work. The food and drink are really good also, including the restaurant and tower views of Santa Cruz
Our stay at Camino Real was excellent. The kids loved the waterslide, it had a great location across from the Mall, supermarket and restaurants. Their spa was awesome, if you can book a massage, one of the best we have had. Above all the staff went above and beyond. Muchas Gracias!
It is a nice and wonderfull hotel, maybe it don't reach an european category of 5 stars, but it is the best I have seen in SantaCruz. it has a good instalación and good service. Nice rooms and seemingly clean, beds was comfortable. The spa and their services are also wonderful, confortable and clean. I stayed here for three week for a business trip obviously I'll return in my next trip. I was pleasantly pleased with the amazing staff. But if there is anything to critisize is probably the breakfaste is acceptable, not bad, but must be better for an hotel to 5 stars. It is repetiteve the same food every morning, and not much to choose. the worst was the caffe in the breakfast. also maybe staff in general needs more training to improve professionality.
My girlfriend and I spent a night for carnivals. At out arrival, since the hotel was full, we were not able to receive the suite we booked. We were given two different bedrooms until we finally got ours at 20:00 ( check in time was at 13:00 according to the confirmation e-mail the hotel sent me) As a gratification, we got an upgrade on our suite, a bottle wine and a cheese platter therefore the check out time was extended until 18:00. Beautiful bedrooms, ours fulfilled my high standards. Nice outdoors pool ( too many people out there, specially children, i wouldnt recommend it for people trying to get relaxed.
But beware...many of the rooms face the pools and gardens which is fine...but they also face the neon screens of the Ventura Mall across the street which light up the night!!!!! So it is hard to find a good view from this hotel. On the other hand the location provides easy access to the Mall which is 21st century and a good thing. The art in the hotel and the new Tower rooms is a delight! Face cloths seem to be a problem in this hotel as well as its sister hotel in La Paz.. You seem to have to request them. Our suite was very well designed and provides a kitchen like area for longer stays. A very nice super market is around the corner. One small bottle of water is provided in the bathroom for only the first night. While the included breakfast was just fine and includes an omelette if you want one, the same restaurant in the evening offers the most expensive food we found in Bolivia and very inferior food. The seafood on the pasta dish was dried out and the 4 shrimp were very small. The sauce which was "glue like" made the dish inedible. I am still not sure how they ruined what was advertised as filet mignon. It appeared that they pounded the meat flat and put oil on it and then put it on a grill...???????It looked nothing like the picture in the menu or any filet I have ever had around the world. To their credit they removed the dishes from the bill.. There are many good restaurants in Santa Cruz and we had similar dishes that were just fine. The food at the Bar seemed better and priced more in line with similar places in Bolivia . Prices in general are one half that of the US. The front desk has good service and English speaking persons.
Nice place and service, with a good room accommodation and food. Near to the a big shopping, and a taxi stop that is very useful in this kind of city. Have a restaurant to take dinner and service at room as well.
The hotel its fine, friendly staff and good service overall. The restaurant has good food selection and good breakfast included. At the time of check in ask for a room in the new tower, old tower specially in lower floor are noisy and smell bad.
We have stayed here a number of times and we always get treated like special guests. There are literally hundreds of green parrots sitting in the trees above the entrance who loudly greet you as your enter. The food in the restaurant is very good and the free breakfast buffet is outstanding. The rooms are quiet and well appointed. The pool and spa are very clean and refreshing. The hotel staff are very helpful with anything that you need. There is a very nice mail across the highway from this hotel. While I wouldn't buy any of the overpriced items in the stores, the food court, restaurants and movie theatre are top-notch. Will definitely stay there again and again and again.
This is the best hotel in the town. Very good location and facilities. Very well maintained. Courteous staff. Breakfast is good. Restaurant is very consistent. I felt limited choices on the menu but what they have are good. I like the room lighting. Most places they have motion sensors lights. No trouble locating the switches. All in all good choice.
