AMAZING view of the volcano if you stay at the room with volcano view. Quiet and friendly welcoming staff. The restaurant was delicious with pretty great view of the volcano. The room clean and cozy. No AC needed. The only issue would be the 8pm curfew due to the hotel being in the national park and the entrance/exit closes at that time. Overall a great stay!

It was nice but there was a huge gap between the window and the wall and a huge rat come in from the ceiling maybe about 10 lbs rat I told the lady in the front she said is normal because it’s on the mountain 😂

Loved this place to death! The staff was amazing. The views were to die for. They offer an atv tour there which I took part in. The only thing that I would say is there is no ventilation in the bathroom which make it a bit rusty. I would still stay here though.

The power, water, & internet were down during our stay. The bath towels looked dirty & dingy & of course there wasn’t any hot water so super cold showers were terrible. We ordered room service & the food was subpar & expensive. Additionally, the only way to communicate with the staff is on WhatsApp. We only spent one day of our three day stay at this hotel. We couldn’t possible bare the idea of staying longer.

Beautiful, tranquil getaway - fantastic views, great service, wonderful room and good food. Showers were a little cooler than our liking - but otherwise an amazing vacation spot. The afternoon clouds settling over the property was absolutely magical!

The hotel and the location is stunning. However, in order to provide a better experience, there needs to be a way to contact staff after 8pm in case of an emergency. Lack of availability of staff (Via whatsapp or in person) after hours altered our experience on the property.

Casa 1800 Cerro Verde was absolutely amazing. The location has 360 stunning views, great eating options, lots of outdoor activities to do, and it is also very relaxing. My only regret is not staying longer.

Front desk doesn’t explain how to use the TV or heather inside the room, in order to view the Volcano from your room you have to make a night step in concrete stand that won’t be easy for every person

We loved the view! The room's safe wasn't working and was removed from the wall unfortunately. There was also nowhere to hang clothes, towels or other fabrics in the room. The volcano view was stunning and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant food was good. We did have to wait a bit for our food and we did have to remind the waiter a couple times for certain things. We didn't have anyone check to see if we wanted a second beverage during our meals. The typical breakfast and French toast were our favourites!

The food was a 6/10. I was also informed that you have to be in by 8pm or they will lock the gate & you may not be able to enter after which is understandable because after dark trying to get up the hotel is risky. Other than that the location is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, the bed was super comfortable and the view from the room was breath taking

The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. You will be able to leave until the park open up. After 10PM the front desk closes so you will be dealing with security. Our room faced the volcano which was amazing. The room are spacious and clean.
