We loved the decorations and history of the castle. Very ornate a little over the top but beautiful. There were two weddings at the hotel and they were very loud all night but that's the way it goes. Great pool and fountains everywhere

The hotel overall was fair. At the night we arrived there was a big celebration with noise until 02:00 am!! The room was small (we order a room with 30 sq meters) the shower space was minimum. breakfast was poor, no drink water in the room

The staff were helpful at reception. We unfortunately were there when the coronavirus was over north of Italy, and we were the only residents very strange. The hotel is very kitch not to our liking at all, something like Hearst Castle in California. Definitely not 5 stars , I would give it 3 star.o We had been booked into a nearby hotel but on arrival the restaurant was closed and we had to get taxis every night. Thanks to Bennis at Expedia he got usmoved to the sonrisa.

The hotel was a beautiful place to spend a few days, staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and clean. The bar was reasonably priced for a hotel. Only let down was no sun loungers by the pool area, which I can understand as the hotel is geared towards a wedding venue. Ideal place to stay for a few days if traveling around the local area.

Wonderful and helpful front of house staff. We travelled as 3 Adults. Myself, My Dad and Nephew. We were blown away by the hotel. It has such beautiful old charm. Just stunning. We found that the Taxis were very expensive! Although, less so if you book through Reception. Great stay.

An Oasis in a not so pretty town.

The hotel was amazing.It was over the top.Everything was like it was in a movie.There were birthday parties in the afternoon with doves being released and a horse drawn carriage with one of the birthday girls in it.There were fresh flowers everywhere.The breakfast had wonderful croissants and great cappuccinos There was ham and cheese and not so good cold fried eggs.The room was well supplied with all sorts of amenities, toothbrush, toothpaste,soaps.cue tips,needle and threads.Supper was too late for us so we had room service on our balcony.It was deliscious.Agreat stay and a short drive in the morning to the Scavi of Ercolano.

I felt as if I had stepped into a dream world where every idea of what would make me happy had already been considered. Initially I thought the decor was overly dramatic, however it was with intent as it is a famous wedding venue. The staff was very intent on ensuring our happiness. It’s wonderful. Highly recommend stay here, just for the experience. It’s like being in a large, sweet, wedding cake.

Amazing and Palatial Hotel

This hotel was booked because it is close to Pompei and Ercolano. Taxis were available from the hotel. we took the taxi to the Pompei and then the train onwards to Ercolano. We had use of their sister hotel for use of the swimming pool. this was on the roof, and had a stunning view of Versuvius, and Pompei. The hotel has bookings every day for the most stunning weddings. The restaurant was good. The hotel is so outstanding, and famous people stay there. This is inland, not near a beach. The roads do not have pavements. No where to walk to.
