About this property

Ocean Front Studio, Kayak available - Swimming, bring own snorkle Euipment

We have two levels of lawn leading down to the ocean with swimming and snorkelling including a beautiful cluster of coral reefs a few yards from our lawn. The underwater photos were all taken on that cluster of reefs.

Our minimum is now 5 nights and if anyone tests positive during their stay. We have also installed fibre wire to upgrade internet wifi speed to 100Mb for those who may need to work while travelling. We have a charging station that will work with most electric rental car types on island- All property photos were taken at Wrexford property - Kayak (available with a small fee). You can swim or snorkel (bring your own snorkel equip.). This lovely Studio has all you need, a full-height refrigerator, microwave, small 3 burner stove with oven, flat screen TV, 100 cable channels, wifi, and Bar-B-Q. There is a shower and a phone for Local calls only. The property is .55 acres. Come and experience the best sunsets you have ever seen (weather permitting, of course) - owners run a Bermuda Tour company, Winsome Tours - Check-in time is 3:30 PM and Check-out is 11:00 AM. There is a Key vault next to the door. Once the booking is made, the key vault code will be supplied.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen with a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, and a stovetop. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a coffee maker, a phone, and an ironing board.

Our stay was wonderful because we enjoyed both the welcoming hosts and the beautiful seaside views and proximity to our own water access. The cottage was clean and had all that we needed. The approach to the property was a little challenging but we adapted to it. We were able to charge our little electric vehicle overnight, so that was great. The walk up the hill to the grocery store was a bit steep so we drove. All in all we had a wonderful, quiet stay.

We had an amazing time! This rental was advertised exactly as it is, and the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. We had 2 hurricane threats during our stay and Ralph and Julie did absolutely everything to keep us updated, safe, and aware of everything we could hope to know. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We will definitely stay here again!!

Wrexford Cottage is an amazing place! The reef just 50 feet offshore is spectacular and the sunsets are amazing! I enjoyed going for a swim out to the reef in the morning and then exploring Bermuda. It’s especially a great location because it’s located close to the Dockyard and the Southshore beaches. Ralph and Julie and wonderful hosts! Ask Ralph any questions about animal life on Bermuda because he has the answers! I look forward to coming back to Bermuda and Wrexford!

This place is fabulous, just like in the pictures. You get your private balcony to watch the sunsets, and walk right down to the ocean for swimming and snorkeling. The owners are super nice and very helpful. The is room comfy and the bed is nice and firm. We would definitely stay here again. Small word of awareness, it is down a steep road, and can be tricky to navigate. Also it requires some up and down hilly walking to the ocean and room, just keep that in mind. Other than that, it's paradise, you will love it.

Our taxi driver was a bet overwhelmed with the closed in the street if you call it that, was and has lived on the island his whole life. The numbers on the houses was a difficult to find.Then there was the stairs down to.our unit. 3 sets of stairs. Then the stairs down to ocean were even more scary. The unit was clean but very slippery floors if wet. The shower had no hand rails around. And floor in bathroom was slippery when wet.Very slippery floors.After a couple of days saw small like roaches. Bed was a bit hard and the pillows need to be replaced.Ralph gave us ideas on where to eat close by. And he was a talker. If we were younger maybe this would be a ok. But not for anyone with disability issues.The view was awesome. For sure.

direct access to the ocean, privacy and parrot fish

Wrexford Cottage provided exactly what we wanted for our brief (week-long) break from our respective desks. The cottage is right on the ocean, the parrot fish close to shore, the reef is alive with coral and fish. Ralph and Julie provided exactly the kinds of local "tips" we needed so that we could make the best of our time in Bermuda. With thanks.

Perfect for Snorkeling and Sunsets

This is a great location for a single person or a couple that loves to snorkel. The property has a lawn that slopes down to the water and the reef is available to explore right offshore. The owners live above the apartment and are really helpful if you need them but respect your privacy. The backyard feels very private and is a great place to enjoy your dinner while watching the sun set over the ocean.

Absolutely wonderful

We rented an EV and used this wonderful apt as our home base. The EV charger was such a plus. We already miss having our morning coffee with that view and our evening beverage at sunset. The hosts are wonderful people and the pictures don't capture how great this property is. Fish sandwiches one way, golf and the most beautiful beaches the other. Perfect for a couple.

WREXFORD COTTAGE IS A DREAM

Hosts Ralph & Julie were thoughtful and efficient - and between them, have the most beautiful smiles on record. That said, we had complete privacy during our stay. They called prior to our travel to confirm details, even arranging the best driver on the island, Corrine! The property is staggeringly beautiful. The neighborhood locals were charming and all wished us “Good Day” as we passed their homes on our walk to the bus. I almost don’t want to rave to much as I feel this is a treasured gem I want access to in the future. Our trip was beyond amazing and we are missing Bermuda upon our return. We cannot thank you enough for contributing to some real Life memories.

Fantastic birthday vacation

We had such a fantastic time in our first visit to Bermuda! We ate outside in the backyard on several evenings and watched the sunset. We kayaked and snorkeled and watched parrotfish. It was definitely a blessing to have the charging station at the house to charge our electric vehicle (which we also recommend getting). Ralph and Julie were excellent hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We went all over the island but we also spent plenty of time staying in the room. It’s cozy and comfortable and a really great place to relax. We went grocery shopping a few times and brought the food back to make meals in the kitchen. We had everything we needed there. Thanks so much Ralph and Julie!

Peaceful by the sea.

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Wrexford Cottage. Ralph and Julie were extremely kind hosts who take pride in their home and the island. The apartment was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The apartment was also very well temperature regulated and comfortable which is not always the case in humid climates. The property was quiet and the views were breath taking. From the moment I arrived and looked out at the ocean felt peaceful. We were lucky enough to see parrot fish and eagles rays from the shore. Some of our favorite moments during our week in Bermuda were spent on the lawn at the cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great Location and Great Hosts

The location was perfect for us. A sloping lawn down to the water and easy access to the reefs offshore. The setting was private and quiet, and offered opportunities for casual outdoor dining and nice sunsets every evening. Our hosts, Ralph and Julie, couldn't have been nicer. They were attentive to our needs but respectful of our space. The studio apartment is small but was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed.

Heaven on earth

Everything was perfect. The cottage studio was just as described. Julie and Ralph (the hosts) treated us like family. Ralph gave us great recommendations on beaches :) We loved swimming in front of their house and seeing all the fish . We are planning on going back next fall. We spent 10 days at Wrexford Cottage and it was pure heaven
