Quiet village , a short car ride or bus ride away from Dover, sandwich and Deal. Pub is not too loud and has mostly regulars and locals ( we were there on a spring day and a couple stopped by for a beer taking a break from gardening at 3 pm). There is parking for a couple of cars in front.there is a small play area for kids and outdoor seating in the pub. Rooms are pretty large for the price and are clean. The building itself is very old , but plumbing etc are all modernized.
