Great location on the lake with great walking trails and close to town.

Was great to be right by the water. Loved our stay. We told the front desk that we lost a face mask. When housekeeping found it, the hotel called us to come claim it. We'll be back! Thanks Edgewater!

Staff and the view were amazing. The beds weren't the best. But, great water pressure in the shower. No elevators, so lots of stairs if you're doing a lot of coming and going from your room

Likes the yard in front. Dislikes. The first room we were in was so dirty and smelly, like a locker room, that we asked to be moved to a new one. The staff was rude but finally were able to move us. We had a king room to begin with they moved us to a 2 queen beds. The second room was still dusty but not had bad and it smelled a little better. The furniture was dusty and there were cigarettes butts on the deck that we had to throw away. We don’t smoke. We dealt with the room because we wanted to just focus on our anniversary. The next morning the hotel alarm went off at 6. The maids did not check to see if it was off. About 8 the maids were in the next room over talking really loud about us. Saying if we didn’t line the way the F$&8ing cleaned them room then we could F$&@ing leave. Loud enough to wake my husband up. He was not happy. Went down and talked to manager Tony. They reluctantly compensated the room. It was never about the money. We stay at BW all over the world. When we left the maid glared at me the whole way down the hall. They aren’t doing their job. There are signs in the lobby saying they are doing e tea cleaning because of Covid but from the looks and smells they aren’t even doing the regular cleaning. We will never stay there again. It was disgusting

The Edgewater is an obviously older facility that is nice, but nothing special, except for the location and view. It’s a three-star hotel with a five-star view.

Everything was wonderful, cant wait to go back again.

Clean, quiet hotel right on the water- great value!

Easy walk to the downtown and this beautiful lake view from the room was worth enough to forget other inconvenuences.

The room was spacious, bed was super comfy, loved that they had a pool and hot tub (would've loved to use the sauna but had my young child with me on this trip). The food at the restaurant was delicious, although a little on the spendy side. However, you definitely get what you pay for. Only complaints I have is that I found a pair of women's dirty underwear under the bed when I was making sure that my son and I hadn't missed any of our own belongings before checking-out. I was a bit grossed out and leads me to believe that housekeeping doesn't clean under the beds. Second, I believe the heater was malfunctioning in our room because it would turn off then immediately turn on within a few seconds. It did this all night long and was quite a disturbance to our sleep.

The facility was pretty good. We dinned at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food was great. The best part for me was the view out of the patio door. Sunrise was outstanding!

This seems like the place to stay in Sandpoint - great location, comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the lake, good restaurant.

everything was great- enjoyed everything the town offered , the lake, the restaurants were expensive though. just all the spiders webbing out on the patios aboove your head & filling up your boat.
