This motel has been around forever. New owners bought it 2 yrs ago and working on improvements. The only complaint I have is about the shower looking moldy. It's the original tile so you expect some discoloration but, this was mold. The gentleman in the office was pleasant and friendly. The tv didn't work and he replaced to dish box but, we never could get it to work due to lack of signal. I wasn't there long enough for that to be an issue. Overall, the motel is good for an inexpensive room for a night or two. If you want emenities go to Marathon or Alpine.

It's an older motel but well maintained. Room was comfortable and a nice place to return to after hunting nearby.

Was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and the staff given the excellent price.

Very. clean basic room. Friendly staff. A convenient stop on the way to Big Bend

We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Air in Sanderson. Everyone made us feel at home. Will stay there again in future trips out West.

The property is a great place for bikers to stay at, very clean, very cool old time motor lodge style. The courtyard area is great for cookout, or just build a fire and hang out. The manager is awesome, very friendly, very helpful. You will love this place.

Room was clean, large towels, good shower. The manager, Stephonie, was nice and pleasant.

Like staying on old route 66 motel, except with a few modern amenities

This is an older hotel in a long stretch of highway that has few hotels to offer.......and it is probably the best choice for the area. They are doing a fine job on the outside and inside of the property. Not luxury but comfortable and quiet.

Excellent hospitality, clean and neat rooms in a quaint town which could turn into a nice layover for a couple of nights when taking US90 instead of I10.
